You can add Orianna with Azir, is very annoying the poking ball but after level 6, it can be more easy to kill she, only try to farm in early and have the Hextech Revolver as first item. Also Rakan in top is viable vs mostly all mellee champs.

Orianna is super easy for rakan, I think you've been watching too many of the pros, see the pros are starting, corrupting potion, and play very safe in the early game...this is wrong. Rakan is an aggressive snowballing playmaker, while he will scale into utility late game, you can get him to snowball too by being aggressive, orianna does not have the damage to out trade you at any point in laning phase, if you play aggressively vs her you will always win. hextech revolver always, I believe it's one of the best, first back mage items

As for top lane, yes he does work in the same sense, but bruisers and tanks will outscale rakans damage very early, unless you rush your liandry's torment which sets your CDR build back quite a bit, and even then top lane puts you far from your team, (when teleport is not available) and as a team fighting champion, that's not where you want to be

of-course this is all just my experience and opinions, I've played a lot of rakan in every lane, and these are the conclusions I've drawn. but as always thankyou for your input, questions and suggestions like this, are great for building the community and increasing champion diversity ^__^ GL future Rakan Main

Yes i start with Dorians and its good for the farm but the poke is difficult, so i will try the Corrupting Potion; i know that rakan have to play aggresive but if you fail the W you are not be able to win the trades cause Oriannas level 3 she have slows and scale damage with the basics so it's annoying but good guide.

I'm a Rakan main and have been dreaming of going mid successfully as him ever since i hit m6 long ago, and now i've been m7 for a while with never having had a successful mid game and mild success with 1v1s, so i am more then willing to try this cool guide. though i wish like how you explained 2 of the champs hes strong against,you would describe 2 of the champs hes weak against so we might have an idea on what to look out for. its been my opinion that ppl underestimate rakan and that works to my advantage a lot, but in the combo section you missed that he can also ult ppl by shielding through them to an ally.

Cool Rakan guide. Interesting build, great emphasis put on how to play Rakan in all aspects and clear instructions on how to play him efficiently throughout the game. I love the combos section great work and effort put in +1. Keep it up

You could add Leblanc to the same category as Yasuo, she has equal trades early game due to her abilities, in addition to her W being used to dodge yours, once it hits 6 is where she gets very obnoxious. Depending on the Leblanc they will almost always try to go for a chain to zone you out, frustrating but winnable match up as long as your jungler is involved

EDIT: Kassadin is around akali levels of threat, his q can provide a good spell shield but unless he can follow up with his W he'll end up getting a bad trade, early is fine for you going in, later on you'll let him come to you under tower or lead into a gank.
