Malzahar is a very good mid laner. His silence that can last over 2.4 seconds (if I'm right). He is a high DPS mage that can dominate the summoner's rift. A good Malzahar user can easily land his Q because of great calculations and timings. Being able to read your enemies movement, you can silence them easily then land your E or W. If you are fighting against a tanky mage, landing your W would be a good start to do your combo since it would deal more dmg to enemies with a high health before silencing them. After that, throw your E and then ULT. If ignite is available, you can cast it while channeling your ult for maximum dmg.
