The main reason this build works is because of Titanic Hydra. Trinity Force in general is just insane on Ekko, and with Rod of Ages or Rylai's Crystal Scepter you will do decent damage with your abilities as well as doing damage with your basic attacks, and with the addition of titanic hydra with defensive items with hp as mentioned beforehand you will be doing A LOT of damage to your opponent while also becoming very sticky. Furthermore because you built both AD and AP it will make it difficult for your opponent to build against you. I was suprised at how well this worked in my first couple of games that I tried this before realizing how insanely broken this was. I normally don't write guides, but I've decided to for this specific occasion as I believe I have stumbled into a quite broken build.
