yes your build is good too.its another great different style of playing:)
yes there are other ways to play shen as said in my build, but this way gives you a massive load of survivability.you can choose to do things your ways,of course there are times my build doesnt work, for example,if your opponent has a fed vayne, which can do a percentage of your hp in true damage, you need your team, more mobility or something to help either kill vayne or escape death.there are many ways to play, but this is the build i use the most and i can hold this build up and stay alive most of the times.NOTE THAT I DIDNT SAY ALL THE TIMES.feel free to leave any other comments.
Start with heart of gold.
Build ninja tabi or merc treads based on enemy team, starting with the armour or cape thing first (use E to move quick if needed)
Get rylais crystal sceptre, slows, lil buff on abilities.
Get thornmail, best armour in the game.
Get Randuins OR force of nature based on the enemy team. If you do get force sell the heart of gold when you run out of space.
Sunfire cape is awesome too.
Lastky get another health item, (especially if you didnt get randuins or sunfire). You could also throw in an Abyssal sceptre at the end.
My games usually finish before 6 items but thats pretty much what i aim for ^
it works really well.
P.S. get mercenary in the defence tree ^
The masteries aint bad. But you don't need that last point for the neutral buffs. There's really no point in getting Blue or Red on shen, and Baron lasts long enough. Drop it for another point in swiftness if you really wanna go into the utility tree. Also do take note that Expanded Mind gives you +10 energy at 4 points. While +10 energy isn't much, Shen does face a lot of energy issues if going for Faint. So consider swaping some things around.
From Skill build to Summoner Spells it's really preference. Although Cleanse or Ghost might not be a bad trade for Heal.
The Item and Rune builds... You haven't explained much about them other then you want a **** ton of HP. While I don't mind you rushing for Warmogs, Your runes and items need to complement each other. Why have that much HP flat runes and rush for a warmogs? Mainly your runes want to cover you for some kind of magic damage, considering most HP based items have an Armor component rather then a MR component. You may want to consider changing up the Warmogs for a Sunfire cape, and adding a thornmail in there. (Since you have very little armor and threat). And if you are going for a snowball item, Mejais works better on Shen. his Feint's sheild power scales off AP. if you're gunning for assists, and can survive to keep the snowball item, a Mejais with 15 stacks basically adds more "HP" then your Leviathan.
Just my 2 cents. And a few pennies :P.
