Introduction

Hey, my name is burning12ice. This is my first guide that I have made and I hope you enjoy it. Im focused on an assassin Rengar in this guide rather than a tanky/ap one. I find this to be most reliable and also devastating to the enemy team.

Pros / Cons

Pros
- Bursty
- Lane sustain
- Good harass
- Lane bully
- Can roam a lot and has great mid ganks at lvl 6

Cons
- Not as strong without Ferocity
- Needs good items
- After assassinating adc has a hard time getting out

Items

Items are a huge thing for Rengar. If they have someone like a Malphite on their team then you need either a Last Whisper or Black Cleaver. If you don't have the right items and aren't building to their team comp you're screwed. My favourite item on Rengar is Sword of the Divine, or SOTD. Combine with your ult, they don't stand a chance.

Spells

I perfer to take flash and ignite. This was I can escape things like tower dives, flash into bushes and use my jump to take it from there. Ghost works to because of your ult, but I jist perfer flash. Because Rengar is such a bully champion, I like ignite. This alows me to secure kills and get the last bit of damage you need when jumping on someone.

Farming

Rengar has a very unique farming technique. You can leave him out in the lane, vulnrable, or in the bush. This allows you to jump out of the bush with your passive, take the cs, and throw out an e to harass. You can also just straight up jump the person and do a good deal of damage. Also, when farming, I like to charge my q. This allows me to gain ferocity quickly and be even more of a threat.
