Not Updated For Current Season
This guide has not yet been updated for the current season. Please keep this in mind while reading. You can see the most recently updated guides on the browse guides page
He has the pontential of snowballing on lane and massively poking Nasus badly. He is recovering health by passive and Mega Gnar can be a real problem for Nasus. At his "little" form, he will constantly poke with his boomerang all around and get annoying. Stay nearby turret and ward tribush everytime.
Malphite
He is constantly wasting mana by trying to poke Nasus, but Nasus will constantly recover health by Q and passive, which makes Malphite vulnerable on lane and gives Nasus green light to farm.
Aatrox
He may be annoying because of his skills and passive, but trying to avoid CC-ing you with his jump and poking you will be easy.
Darius
Darius is by far the most annoying champion for Nasus. In early he is his nightmare and can get fed if not played correctly. Avoid fighting with him, try to survive on lane. If you have low health, don't risk and try to ask your jungler to sustain your lane until you come back.
Dr. Mundo
He will be ichy with his abilities, but can be avoided easily and stack freely.
Gragas
He will spam his abilities in the hope of poking and killing, so be careful.
Garen
He is one of the lane bullies who has a lot of sustain, CC and he is dayum tanky. He will be rough and annoying and in late will also be tanky and won't leave a kill to your jungler or to you, so the best tactic is to avoid getting caught in early.
Fiora
She will "duel" with you and try to keep you out of the lane. Her ultimate will be really annoying. Don't give her a big amount of gold by dying(maximum 3 times) or she will be a danger for the game.
Irelia
Snowballs nice and pokes at the same time. It will be a a boring lane and what you have to do is to farm and not overextend to much.
Jarvan IV
It's not a big threat for Nasus, maybe his ultimate will be a problem when their jungler will gank.
Jax
This lane is a race to: "who snowballs better". They are both very good late game laners, but Jax has the advantage to be quite nice in early too, so that makes Nasus a target to him, but he can't stay alive without mana. In, like, 2-3 set of abilities, he will scream at his turret because he can't poke you and you can recover from the pain he did to you.
Jayce
Annoying for his harrass with basic attacks, high damage dealing with his abilities and will poke everytime you try to take a stack.
Katarina
A very, very big threat by level 3-6. She will deal tons of damage to you, mostly if she has ignite it will be painful and also very hard to avoid getting poked from her. Try from other lanes and jungler camps to take stacks. If you can finish Spirit Visage and have 300 stacks, you can beat her if she's not too fed.
Akali
It's same as Katarina, annoying and will make you run away from the lane, but after 200-300 stacks it's easy.
Kha'Zix
He's an assassin with escape, quite bad for Nasus. He will be able to escape if Nasus wins a "poke war" and tries to kill him.
Lee Sin
It's really bully, but you can avoid getting kicked by playing safely and trying to avoid his Q's.
Yasuo
He will be a constant problem to Nasus for his massive damage, but will be weak in early.
Zed
His ultimate can be countered with Nasus's ultimate.
Wukong
He will be, as all the champions, annoying in early because all the champions are annoying in early for Nasus, but with a bunch of stacks he won't be able to stay on lane.
Lissandra
Her abilities to stun will be ugly for Nasus, be careful at how you are attacking her and approaching to do stacks.
Lulu
Big poke early, has really efficient ultimate and be careful how you attack her because she can polymorph you and kill you.
Maokai
In early he does some damage and he is tanky too. He will be quite annoying and the jungler's ganks will be really dangerous.
Mordekaiser
His passive is annoying and his skills will constantly deal damage.
Nidalee
After the new update where Nidalee takes her ultimate at level 6, now she can be played on top, as AD. She will be very, very annoying with a very, very big burst of damage and will easily kill you. I had experience with her and it is difficult to stack, almost impossible. You have a chance to take as much as possible stacks until she hits 3, but after that, turret is your girlfriend.
Olaf
He has big sustain on lane and a lot of lifesteal when fighting with Nasus. I experienced moments when I was sure that I will kill an Olaf, but he was just life-steal-bursting me.
Pantheon
Annoying for his spear, he will use mana quite fast and his stun will be kinda annoying, but nothing hard.
Renekton
I didn't consider him a bigger threat because, if you can progress in making stacks, at ... like 300 stacks, he will be vurnerable.
Riven
Big threat in early. Stun, shield and tons of damage, which is really bad for Nasus. Be careful and farm in the turret.
Rumble
His ultimate and supercharging are annoying, but Nasus can deal with his poke and farm, as his Q will life-steal enough damage to resist.
Ryze
A big bully for Nasus. He will keep Nasus out of stacking. In early he will use too much mana and after 3-4 sets of skills, he may recall and you have a chance to farm. After he takes mana items, it will be really difficult, so try to avoid letting him poke you without getting anything.
Shen
He is one of the CC annoying laners, which deal modest damage, but has a lot of CC which will help their jungler kill you and keep you out of creeps and stacks.
Shyvana
Has decent damage, but not enough so you can farm pretty well.
Singed
He may be annoying with his grabs and poison, but you will recover by stacking.
Sion
His abilities are easy-peasy to be avoided and you can take advantage of that. He uses a lot of mana and will be vulnerable if he doesn't hit you with any CC like his Q.
Swain
It's so ugly how he stuns you, deals tons of damage on you and sustains with no problem. He will be a problem and has a big chance to kill Nasus, mostly if he gets gank.
Teemo
OK, here I may write an essay because a lot of people pick Teemo for Nasus so I thought and it's easy how to counter Teemo. Start with the AP laning magic resist items from my build. Wait for him to blind you, after he blinded you stack with Q as fast as you can and take farm, so the trade will be in your favor and he will lose mana. Your advantage to win against Teemo is that he uses mana, a lot of it, it is really important for poking and without it, he can't do anything to it. TAKE PROFIT OF THAT. Wait for him to use mana, take stacks when he is farming. Build magic resist and he will be nothing to you, it's simple!
Trundle
His turf will be annoying, but if he doesn't catch you well with his abilities it won't be a problem, maybe his bite which is dealing quite damage.
Tryndamere
He is dealing lots of damage with his passive and basics which will make you stay out of the lane so try to take advantage until he gets 6 and has that annoying ultimate.
Vladimir
Play as passive as possible. He will always take health back, poke continuously and being annoying. Try to use ultimate only if needed or he will kill you.
Volibear
His grabs are annoying, he will deal a lot of damage and be tanky in the same time, and Nasus doesn't like that. You can stop him by slowing him, stay back from him when you think he will assault him and take advantage of him when farming to take minions.
Warwick
Very annoying. Snowballs really good for late and has a lot of life steal. High sustain. Just stack with Q and recover health by passive and stack. You have a 75% chance to lose any fight you try to engage with him.
