Blue EZ lacks Damage, but im one who loves to spam skills. Why do you think EZ's best synergies are with supports with sustain? You'd be surprised on the amount of people that build blue on Ezreal despite changes.

The reason you still see a lot of blue builds is because people at low-elo are behind on those in platinum+. When Thresh was broken, I could still play him at gold and only after some time they started to realize his potential and banned him.

Since the new Trinity Force was released, every ezreal should build it and there is no reason anymore to do anything else. I have never seen a single ezreal in platinum or diamond build blue anymore.

I was reading your statement with utmost interest until you stated that Ezreal should use blue build, even after all the changes.

@ OP: I agree that trist isn't the strongest laner out there, but she does have some potential through her trading potential with AA-E, especially in the early levels vs no sustain. My point was simply that you are a bit over-exaggerating in my opinion. I did not vote.

Of course as long as you have spells you have potential. I'm merely stating the fact that her laning phase is just(if not worst) than vayne's. If i came off as stating her to be complete garbage in laning(i did not mean that), just in comparison to other adcs she is relatively weak.

on the other hand
blue ezreal is still viable IMO
in certain situations it's better than TF depending on team comps.
you are right in the sense that TF should be the standard build for Ezreal, but you shouldn't completely write off the blue build.

on topic: You're overestimating Trist.

the base damage on E active is actually extraordinarily high.

http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Tristana

The possibility of trist killing anyone pre-BOTRK is low, alone i mean.
Her early game is ****. Ken know's what hes talking about when he's arguging that her early game is terrible, because it is. If she goes W first she cant CS as well. If she goes E first then she cant Escape as well. It's all about the support meat-sheielding for the early game.

if she can outrade so mannnyyy champssssss, why isnt she played competively?
because shes a high risk ADC, she isnt as safe as corki.
despite both having an amazing disengage and both having huge ranged harass.

If Ezreal can hit his spells is a huge if, just like Ashe, his Q is minion blockable

Ez's skillshots are many, if he builds blue ( which he should ) there's no stopping him. We're also talking about High ELO play. Anyone who plays EZ is going to have a good knowhow of skillshots.

And even then, the range isnt that far apart, it isnt until later where trist can trade with ashe without expecting some sort of attack. Ashe's Volley is minion blockable, but it still scales off AD, whereas Trist's explosive shot scaled off AP. Which means, by 6, Ashe's Volley is going to seriously hurt.

Tristana has a strong ALL-IN, but she doesnt trade better because of this. Compare her to Vayne.
Do we play vayne 24/7 because she can secure early? No.

Then again we're talking about high ELO play, so if we're talking about Bronze-Silver Then I GUESS your IDEAS might be applicable. Just try going all in early game as Trist in higher leagues, see what happens.

Tl;Dr

support is important for trist early game
Stop rushing and IE, BOTRK.

I would say ashe beats tristana up to level 3 because ashe actually doesn't scale on level but her damage at level 1/2 is actually quite high. After level 3 ashe is pie though. You just have to be careful for some ultimate wombo combo, especially when the enemy jungler comes and have a look.

Ashe outranges Tristana until lvl 6.

Since Tristana has the same range as Ezreal, she usually does pretty well.

Trist can trade equally anyone but those three, I don't see what the fuzz is about. There is a difference between fully outtrading and doing decently in lane, if you can stay equal in lane as a hypercarry your lane is pretty much won.

I wouldn't say equally...

early on level 2 can determine the lane depending on how you play it.

Ezreal, Vayne, Kog'Maw, just out of the top of my head. Pretty much the only champions tristana cannot outtrade for sure are corki, draven and caitlyn.

Yeah.. the key names corki and caitlyn

most popular adcs in solo queue.

IMO i think only vayne on the list is who tristana can fully outtrade.

if Ezreal can hit his spells I think ezreal will come out on top.

Kogmaw out ranges tristana with his w early on. but it really depends on the support. kog maw can harass tristana with his range but tristana can also All-in.
