Tryndamere Passive Ability
----Hi Everyone!----
This guide is primarily designed to help Tryndamere better handle an AP-oriented team, while still leaving him with a massive amount of dps output, plenty of armor penetration, Lifesteal, and a rather high crit chance (When you consider his passive Bloodlust)...
I'll be constantly updating this guide, and I'll add in more information as soon as possible.
The Pros:
--Tryndamere has a very high dps output.
--His passive, bloodlust, can be consumed
for health and increases his critical
strike chances!
--Tryndamere has an powerful ultimate,
allowing him to be immune to death for (5)
seconds!
--Tryndamere has a great built-in slow/
flash combination.
--Tryndamere becomes a force to be reckoned
with mid-late game.
The Cons:
--Tryndamere is squishy throughout the game (like all
other AD carries).
--Tryndamere is shut down by Crowd Control (Stuns,
Slows, etc.)
--Tryndamere requires cash and a good build
(very item dependent) to be useful to his team
early, mid, and late game.
With Tryndamere, farming is rather easy, considering his high crit chance makes last-hitting fairly forgiving. Aggression early-game with Tryndamere is normal, but it can often either lead to you feeding, or you getting fed... so generally hold off until you reach level 6, unlocking your Ultimate: Undying Rage()
Bloodthirster: for damage and lifesteal, two things every Tryndamere needs.
Maw of Malimortius: Yep, you saw it-- the Maw gives you more attack damage, magic resistance, and it gives you a shield if an Ap caster gets you too low, too fast. Oh, and did I forget to mention the attack damage increase based on each 2.5% of health lost? Fantastic item.
Infinity Edge: Lots of crits, a big chunk of attack damage, and a passive increasing the damage your crits can inflict. Key item in all normal Tryndamere builds.
Phantom Dancer: Increases your move speed so it caps at about 390, and gives you more attack speed and crit chance.
Black Cleaver: More attack speed and damage, as well as a quickly-stacking armor penetration makes this a rather necessary item for most any Tryndamere build (in my opinion) HOWEVER: Assuming your team has enough dps, but you feel like you are being focused down, then not being able to pick up kills, grabbing a Frozen Mallet is a some-what viable option. Just remember it's going to cut down your armor penetration :(
Mercury Treads Can be traded for Berserker's Greaves. If you are getting crowd controlled down to nothing, it will cut your early game attack speed, but it's a good price to pay for not dying right?
