Taric is a great support, but he can play very good as an ap-tank to. This guide will not be so long, but it will give you some idea how to play him as a solo top.

This build is not Taric with gems, this is Mr. T with gold.

Btw, this is my first guide, so it might look a little bit wierd

Pros:
Taric solo is for pro's
Fun
Good cc
Good def
Good teamplay
Enemy dont really know how to play against you

Cons:
Need ganks early to do well alone
Not that good dmg
Low mobilty
People might think you are trolling

As runes you want some def, as you are a tank. Take flat armor for Seal and Magig res. per/lvl for Glyph.
But you also want some dmg. Take Magic pen as Marks and flat ap as Quintessence.

Taric might have a little bit hard before lvl 3, you need all your skill to do something good. Do not try to get that firstblood alone on top.

If you have an easy lane, and you and your team dont need your Imbue can you max Dazzle first. Do this if you got a healer as the team support, like Sona or Soraka. If you max your Dazzle after Shatter will the stun do more dmg and has less cd. Its great.

If you want some other tankt iteams, build them. Every game is different, but this build will do good vs a balanced enemy team.

If you meet an ad champ top, can you skip buying Spirit Visage you may also buy Ninja Tabi . Only buy Ninja Tabi if they an heavy ad team, or have little cc.



As summoner spells, do I use Flash and Ignite , but you can use Teleport or Exhaust to.

You will fight best with someone. But you dont need a gank to do that. If you are in lane, wait for the other player to attack you, then its your time to strike. First use Dazzle for the stun (remember, the dmg its higher if the enemy is closer). After you have used your stun, use Shatter and now you will do the dmg. Your minions/tower will hit him much harded because you remove a lot of his armor. After 4 sec, the Shatter efect will go out, and then is your time to stop.
If you dont have mana problems and has lost a little bit hp, then you can use Imbue at the begining at the fight, and after, because of the cd on hit effect. (3 on champs and 1 sec on towers, minions, monsters, wards etc.

This is a small guide, just for giving you guys some new ideas. Im sorry for short build and bad english. But reamber this and you will be fine:

- Get all the last hits
- Play safe
- Kill them when you get ganks
