LoL Summoner Spell: Ignite

Introduction

This is just a build that I use while playing with my friends. It may be a little too offensive if you don't have many good teammates to rely on, but with a team that is capable of coordinating ganks, this build is perfect for picking up quick kills. it is also the perfect build for KSing people. I notice that with expunge, right when i see champions reach pretty low health i can finish them off. It is basically like smite on champions, which will ensure you can get last hit for most kills.

Pros / Cons

Pros: Great scouter. Can kill enemies with a fairly large amount of health in an instance. Amazing ganking abilities with his invisibility. Good carry, can kill large groups of enemies fast with his ult.

Cons: You are a prime target since you are so squishy. Very squishy. Can be CC'ed. Oracles will hinder your escaping and ganking abilities a lot.

Runes

- These will help you finish off those tanky types of characters that normally have too much armor for you to be really effective.
- These will give you a better chance of surviving ganks, especially paired with Nimbleness.
- These will also help you in surviving since you are so squishy. It helps a lot when you are being focused on by strong AoE champions like Brand.
- These are just for added armor pen.

Items

I like to get a Zeal after my starting items because it gives you added attack speed and CC which, with ambush, will give you a better chance to get early kills. Then I get Boots of Mobility for better scouting and an easier way to get around the map for faster ganks. Then i go for a BF Sword so I can later purchase an Infinity Edge. The Infinity Edge is a MUST for Twitch. It gives great AD and CC, and it makes your CC do more damage. Then I use my Zeal to purchase a Phantom Dancer. This is also a crucial item for Twitch, due to the massive amounts of attack speed and CC it gives. Then I buy a Madred's Bloodrazor. This is good because it gives some more attack speed and also has a passive that will help increase your maximum damage output. After this, things should start setting in, and the winner of the match should be fairly evident. If you feel like your team is winning by a fair amount, you may decide to pick up another Phantom Dancer. If the game is even or if you are losing by a little bit, then a Banshee's Veil is a smart choice because it greatly protects you from magic casters and gives you some added HP and MP. Finally, i end with a Black Cleaver. This is just for some extra AD and its good passive.

Skill Sequence

I like to max ambush and expunge as early as possible so i can get the extra attack speed and increased invisibility time from ambush, and i get the extra damage from expunge to ensure that I finish off my enemies. I obviously put up Spray and Pray whenever i can, and i max Debilitating Poison last. The reason i max it last is because there is usually someone else on your team who has a better slow or stun then Twitch. Also, this allows me to increase my damage and attack speed earlier on for more kills. Your ultimate is your most important skill, so make sure you use it often to maximize your damage, you should never be trying to gank a group of enemies without your ult because of how squishy Twitch is.

Summoner Spells

Flash is one of the most important spells for Twitch. Since he is so squishy and slow early game, being able to flash out of an enemy gank will save you from a lot of deaths. Also, in late game battles it ensures that you can jump into a battle, unload on the enemies with Spray and Pray, and flash out of there before they have a chance to focus you.

Ignite is great for Twitch because it allows you to finish off some enemies that would have gotten away. With 2 DoTs, Twitch can almost always make sure that no enemies will escape from a battle alive.

Team Work

Having a smart team is the key to playing Twitch successfully. You must be able to coordinate ganks with them because Twitch CANNOT attack most champions 1v1. He is way too squishy to attempt a head on battle. His high damage output allows him to be able to finish off rather strong enemies quickly. Make sure you utilize Twitches ability to be invisible as well, no sense in trying to gank from hiding in a bush when you could be right behind the enemy. Unless they have an oracle ward, you should be able to demolish them before they have a chance to react.
