Intro
Flash or Ghost?
Taking Flash or Ghost is mostly based on personal preference and playstyle. I prefer to take Flash over Ghost because of the Flash+Stun combo's. Most of the time they wont react in time to "dodge" your stun. Taking Ghost is good too, just because you can kite easier, but you can chase easier too.
So, in the end there is no real winner. Take whatever works good for you.
Juggernaut > Devourer
Taking the Juggernaut enchant makes us not have to buy the Merc Treads for the tenacity, it also helps us with getting a bit more tanky early game. Of course you can take the Devourer enchant, but that means you will be spending a lot more time in your jungle and less time in lanes ganking and getting your adc or apc fed. So, in my opinion the juggernaut is better because it allowes us to get more movement speed from our boots and it also allowes us to gank lanes easier.
Tiger > Phoenix
Taking Tiger over Phoenix is a no-brainer. By taking phoenix you might clear jungle camps faster late game, but in the late game you will be helping your teammates push and win teamfights. Another factor is that Tiger has better base stats than Phoenix. It allowes us to focus a bit more on the defensive size. So, overall Tiger is better than Phoenix.
Offensive Runes and Masteries?
Taking 21/9/0 allowes us to do a bit of extra damage whilst still building as a tank. It helps us gank in the early game and helps having some sustaned damage is the late game aswell. For the attack speed and move speed runes counts the same. It allowes us to help gank early game and have more sustained damage in the late game. Having the attackspeed and move speed runes also helps with speeding through the jungle camps. Which in turn means we can spend more time ganking lanes.
Spirit Guard / Normal Udyr
Taking Spirit Guard Udyr is amazing of course, seeing as how Udyr is insanely ugly in his default skin. But, because the Spirit Guard skin has been made entirely from scratch, and has nicer animations, means that the animations are not in sync with the default Udyr skin. In short, what I'm trying to say is that when using the Spirit Guard Udyr skin, switching stances resets your auto attacks, whereas the default skin does not. So, if you are going to play ranked with Udyr, I strongly recommend using the default skin. Even if it is ugly as sh*t.
Jungle Path
You start in jungle with a leash at Grub (the giant frog monster). You keep your smite for the blue buff, so you will need a good leash at Grub. You instantly smite blue when you start because you will have your smite back up by the time you are at red. From blue you go to wolves, then to ravens, then to red, then possibly to golems depending on how you cleared the jungle creeps, if you dont have enough health left, dont feel bad. Just go back and start clearing again.
Ganking
When ganking make sure you have level 3, because you will need your stun. Always go in from the back and smite when possible so you can get close to stun. If your teammate has just been killed by his lane opponent and he is low health, but almost in his "safe zone" dont be afraid to flash for the kill, because getting a few kills ahead early game can make a huge difference in the late game. Not only because you will be tanky earlier but also because you can split-push harder.
