Introduction

Welcome to the jarvan jungle guide!

Jarvan is a very versatile champion, you see people building full lethality AD,Full Tank and Bruiser, after playing jarvan a lot and studying how the best jarvans in NA build I decided that Bruiser was the way to go.

Its the most solid build that's really strong in the mid game and can be built even when behind its also always easier to climb playing more consistent easy builds. Building Full AD lethality makes jarvan one shot but in return it makes you too squishy and if you get behind/going against tanks your screwed, building full tank is better then Full AD but you also don't do any damage.

Runes

Welcome to the Runes Chapter!

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush

Jarvans Runes are pretty simple, This Rune page is great for new players who only have the basic AD runes page and it has the highest winrate for jarvan

Masteries

Welcome to the Masteries Chapter!

mastery setup

My masteries are also pretty standard going 12 ferocity and 18 cunning taking thunderlords decree, Fresh Blood is great on jarvan since his passive Martial Cadence also gives him bonus attack damage when you initial basic attack an enemy which gives you some hefty damage.

i like taking Assassin over Runic Affinity because it can help you snowball and with my build you become a monster in the mid game and you can one shot adc's if you don't believe me watch my video i linked at the top of the guide.

in my mastery setup i like taking Dangerous Game which is just personal preference as it can help with early ganks but most people take Greenfather's Gift

Items

Welcome to the Item Chapter!

STALKER'S BLADE - CINDERHULK

Taking Stalkers blade by far is the best on jarvan, you can use it to chase down enemies or to slow them so its easier to hit your E+Q, i also like going cinderhulk over warrior because it makes me more tanky, don't worry though because I don't rush cinderhulk because then I would have no damage in the early game, i actually like rushing tiamat after the basic stalkers blade unless i can get enough gold on my first back for tiamat.

THE BLACK CLEAVER

this is one of my favorite items on Jarvan, it gives you AD,HP.CD and Dealing physical damage to an enemy champion reduces their armor by 4% for 6 seconds. This effect stacks up to 6 times for a maximum of 24% armor reduction. its a most have item on bruisers because of those great stats and most players build it as their 2nd item as it can give you a power spike once you grab it.

TITANIC HYDRA

Titanic is such a great item on jarvan, i like rushing tiamat after the basic stalkers blade which helps clearing and gives you a lot of early game damage, the passive gives Cleave: Basic attacks deal 5 (+1% of your maximum Health) to your primary target and 40 (+2.5% of your maximum Health) as physical damage to enemies in a cone on-hit (your primary target does not take this damage). which is great for bruiser jarvan since your building a lot of Hp with Black cleaver and cinderhulk.

NINJA TABI

ninja tabi is usualy built with jarvan because it can block 10% damage from basic attacks which helps against fed AD-Carry's although you should consider switching them out for merc treads if they have fed AP-Carry's

GUARDIAN ANGEL

gurdian angel works well with jarvans play-style just because you tend to die a lot by engaging first in a team fight so the revive is pretty handy but it also gives you a lot more damage

GARGOYLE STONEPLATE

gargoyle stoneplate is just to make sure you survive those engages, when it hits the late game its very hard to survive when the enemy is grouped as 5 and they aim you down first, but if your ahead usually it gives you enough time to kill at least one of their carrys as the passive gives tone Skin: If 3 or more enemy champions are nearby, grants 40 bonus armor and 40 bonus magic resistance. and the active which gives Increases base and bonus health by 40% and increases champion size, but reduces the damage you deal by 60% for 4 seconds. If Stone Skin is active, instead increases base and bonus health by 100% (90 second cooldown). when you activate it

Skill Sequence

Welcome to the skill sequence chapter!

this is the skill sequence i like to go which is pretty standard on jarvan there is not much you can change with jarvan since your Q does the most damage and E is really only good for the E+Q combo, although its good for your first clear because it gives you and your allays who are near it more attack speed, and your W just gives you a slow and a shield so you max that last

Ranked Play

Welcome to the Ranked Play Chapter

Jarvan is one of those champions who are great to Full play if you want to climb the ranked ladder, if you get fed early you are unstoppable and since your building tanky its a little bit harder to throw and mess up then if you played full AD Jarvan.

Always make sure to look on the map for potential ganks, since your initial auto attack does so much damage just make sure that when you gank you don't start off with your E+Q since they can just flash away, instead walk up to them and slow them with your W then if they flash you can just E+Q and kill them (watch the video for more a more visual explanation)

When it hits around the mid to late game your pretty strong just make sure when you team fight to only engage if your team is backing up. i find the best way to climb is to play around your team even if its not the best play because if your team just goes off and die you'll be screwed and you have a higher chance of carrying them if your near them when fights happen also never Flame your team and spam ping.
