Hi everyone , I'm a diamond IV urgot top lane main , and I'm here to show you how to gain some elo , this is a pretty simple guide , won't be very long so you can read it in your champion select Kappa.

Starting Items
When playing Urgot there are 2 starting item options: Crystalline Flask and 3 Health Potion or Doran's Blade and Health Potion , first one when you don't wanna poke and play safe , second for a matchup you're certain you can win.
Core Items
Try to get a Tear of the Goddess AS SOON AS POSSIBLE , as it is your core item and you need to stack it up fast. Later you either buy Manamune to stack it faster and for the bonus ad , or The Brutalizer for the cdr , either way you should get both next.
Boots
Mercury's Treads vs hard cc comps
Ninja Tabi vs hard ad basic attack users
Ionian Boots of Lucidity when you don't go frozen heart , against full ap teams for the bonus cdr you really need.
Mid and Late game
Mid game you should go for Frozen Heart or Last Whisper depending on the situation , Frozen Heart is really good because it gives you mana , cdr and armor and all 3 of those are great on Urgot , Last Whisper is core for bonus armor pen , which scales really good on Urgot because his q applies armor pen, and finish Black Cleaver when you can but usually you don't really want to finish it before your Last Whisper
As your last item you can go a couple of items Banshee's Veil or Maw of Malmortius if there is an AP threat , or you can go Guardian Angel or Randuin's Omen
