Hello again everybody! Two guides today, woo. Anyways, Veigar wasn't in the best spot but after the buffs in 11.4 to him, Cosmic Drive, and Everfrost, he's really good now! You probably saw him very high on the ADC tier list in U.GG and wanted to try him out, so here you go.

Veigar is a really good option when you have full AD teams. It's way better with an aggressive support that can lock them up for your cage, so try to have that. He has a few rough matchups but even then he can play safely and outscale in lane. So he's pretty much blindpickable, specially since the enemy probably won't know it's Veigar botlane.

Tell your support at the beginning of the game that once you use your E W Q, you can't follow up with more damage since all your abilities will be on cooldown. Should be obvious for higher elo supports but you would be surprised.
Try to get a double lasthit with your Q everytime you can without pushing the wave too much, since you prefereably want to be close to your turret. Look for opportunities where they miss step to cage them and trade with Q W + auto for an electrocute proc. Besides that, focus on last hitting and scaling into late game. You rarelly have lethal until level 6, where you can 100 to 0 any ADC by hitting W + Q + auto + R.

Look for picks alongside your team with Cage. Pay attention to any CC you can chain into, and then burst. If you need to use your cage defensively, save it, until the reason why you need it is gone (example: a Talon). All Veigar does at this point is burst people, since his Q poke is so short ranged it would put him in danger to use it that way.

Infinite scaling champion! Position correctly, and you can probably kill people with just a Q > R. Not much to say, same playstyle as mid-game, you just burst them much quicker now. Look for important targets to burst and do it when possible.
