I am a biased Veigar player who plays a tank Veigar. The build seems ok for a standard build that everyone likes to build for Veigar, but I believe the title is terribly misleading about his "tankiness." There really isn't anything in the build that makes him tanky. With your build he went from "super squishy" to "super squishy with a little more health." He has no armor or magic runes. He is not defensive tree spec'd. The items in his build do not give any armor or magic resist other than the chalice which is only a minor upgrade of 30 (meerly equal to merc treads and nothing more).

That said, it looks fine for a typical Veigar build but please don't call it tanky. I am going to give it a neutral vote (which means no vote).

Tehbatdad I dont agree on buyin the tear of goddes because the chalice of harmony has really helped me in early , mid games because it gives you magic resist and alot of mana regen whit veigars passive. Also it is very cheap so it really helps you. BUT i do maybe agree whit the fortify and buying Ryalias scepter a beggining. I will take in consideration and change some thinga. Thanks for the feedback and il will make sure you get credit if i use some of ur ideas.

This guide is very...short. Also, rushing Tear of the Goddess is a much better idea than Chalice of Harmony. Veigar's passive is a Chalice in itself giving .75% increased mana regen per 1 % of mana missing. Also, the tear gives 7 mana per 5, which is .5 less than the chalice. PLUS the 1350 BASE mana the tear gives you AND the 1000 cap, ultimately giving you 2350 mana. Not only is this a better item for Veigar, but it builds into one of your later items (Archangle's Staff).

I have an issue with Fortify, also. Although your intentions are good by using it to get creeps low enough to Farm, the chances of you being able to get ALL the creeps with a baleful is extremely low despite your added bonus. Chances are, out of the six creeps, you'd get two or three at the most. Whereas if you were to only last hit in lane, they wouldn't be at your turret so much, and you could last hit with Baleful a lot more. Also, the Fortify cool down is just too long for your supposed reason of using it.

Both Rod of Ages and Rylai's are very pricey, each totaling about 3k. Having those be first items may make a very slow start for you. Yes, you will have more hp, but less AP. I'm not saying they are bad items for him, but I believe that you would be better off getting a Morello's first or the Void Staff.

I am inclined to vote down, but I wont just yet. I'm still thinking it over. You have made a few points about Veigar that are essential (Last hitting the minions, etc.) But this guide lacks depth. You have your core items, but what are some replacement ideas?

Also, throwing down the rotation to his spells is always a smart move. People may understand that AP is a must for Veigar, but they need to know how to successfully land his burst.

I dunno, I wont downvote for now. We'll see. If you want some ideas of what I'm talking about, here is my guide: http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/veigar-early-farmer-late-nuker-updated-03-2-11-28961

Edit: My only request is that if you DO take information from my guide, dont just take it and not credit me. That is all.

I'm not gonna vote because it seems unfinished and my judgement is impaired from a headache.
Try to fill it out a bit more.

I hope to get some feedback or comments soon. Took me a while to do this build.
