Welcome to my first build on mobafire I hope you enjoy it. Brand has always been my favorite AP caster because he is fun to play and he has devastating burst damage. First of all this build is not going to give you OMFGH@X damage. It is a stable build that lists items that you are most likely going to get not like some builds that say “you should rush deathcap asap” It is realistic so expect to get these items.

Pros:
-Great burst early and espacially mid game.
-Decent farmer
-Great passive for runners
Cons:
-If you missed ur stun and you are getting chased, your dead.
-If ur begining to play brand you feel like you dont contribute to TeamFights but you do.
-Stun requires getting used to but when you do its a long easy stun to land.

My sequence focuses on maxing out Pillar of Flame and Conflaguration sustainably to keep even damage and give one point on sear for the stun.

Runes are pretty self explanatory. Brand is easily countered with MR so MP is always good and he is very mana hungry so some extra mana and regen without having to buy the usual meki pendant is nice.

Masteries are also self explanatory just offensive.

Farming early game is tricky with brand, your going to want to last hit minions with your basic attack and harrass ur opponent(s)with POF until they are half HP from POF pokes and ur lvl six then rain terror and easy kill with E,Q,W,R,ingnite if not dead
Farming late game is AMAZING with brand just POF then conflag and that is a whole wave if stacked correctly

Items here is where is gets interesting with my guide.
-I always start with boots and pots to help myself lane better and get in and out in the first couple of minutes of combat, i get wand to later build an item and start with exceptional AP since early-mid is where brand shines.
-Mid Game ur Burst is unmatched even if ur not fed usually. If you find a poor little half health caster or DPS running down river just E,Q,W,R then dead.
-Late Game is when brand gets tricky. your going to want to get your offensive items, then diagnose the other team and pick a defensive item

I use Flash and ignite.
-Flash is a given, use it smartly dont just flash behind you to run, run towards an unpredictable wall then blick through it. if they blink also just either nuke em or Conflag to Sear stun
-Ignite is awsome on brand because combined with his passive it pretty much makes a really nice long DoT (Damage over Time). Questionable, but if you dont like it use exhaust or ghost

Your job in team fights is to do AOE damage and take down squishy carries. for team fight you usually want to open with POF(AOE),Conflag(AOE),Pyroclasm on a burnt target for fast bouncing and just repeat and stun the carries to limit damage

Basically Brand is a very high burst AOE focused mage that is fun to play but does need some getting used to. if ur thinking on buying brand dont hesitate he is an awsome underrated pick that will surprised ur enemies when u destroy them with ur nuke
