Quick introduction
Forgive me if my English isn't perfect, I'll try my best to explain myself.
My favorite champions to play are Vi top, Riven top, Soraka mid and Ahri mid.
I've played Vi over 20 matches in the PBE after she was released there.
Vi is an amazing champion who can determine the outcome of a teamfight by using her E and her ultimate at the right time.
She can harras an enemy champion in a 1v1 amazingly well by using her Q, E and a basic attack.
In this guide I will get more into my favorite Items, Masteries, Runes and playstyle. ;-)
Always start with boots and pots!
Make sure you have ~1400 gold when you recall, the more the better.
After your first recall, either get a brutalizer or a vamp. scepter. (An early vamp. Scepter is good on Vi, because she has no lane sustain.)
The reason I prefer Beserker's Greaves over Mercury's treads, is because of Vi's passive on her W.
CORE ITEMS:
Beserker's Greaves or Mercury's threads. (Situational and personal preference.)
The Black Cleaver. (Armor pen.)
Trinity force. (TONS OF DAMAGE!)
The Bloodthirster. (Life steal.)

ALWAYS do for Excessive force first. You can use it to damage the enemies behind the minions without getting close. This way you will get more lane control and cs.
After maxing Excessive Force, focus on the passive of denting blows.
After that finish Vault breaker.
Skill combo:
Q for gap closing/Stunning the enemy > E > Basic attack (Passive of W) > R for the knock-up > Basic attack > E.
If this combo doesn't kill the enemy, use your ignite. (I always use Ignite after I used my Q for the passive in the masteries.( +5 AD / +5 AP when Ignite is on cooldown.))
