Glad to see your build for Viktor, it explains really well the basics of the champ! Well ilustraded too, which is important!

But i would liek to point out some things about your runes and itens.

Runes first: in the standart rune page you doesn't have any armor runes. This is quite risky, because you will take AA from your enemy laner. Since Viktor is a mage, it'll hurt a lot more than it should! Also, if you ever try to AA your enemy you will get aggro from minions, and you know, minions do quite the dmg early game. Also, always remember that there is a enemy jungler that will AA you in ganks, and if is someone like J4, Hecarin or any other AD jungler, you'll be DEAD for sure. Personal experience!

Itemization: i think you can improve your itemization. Tear of the Goddess isn't really a good item for Viktor, since he doesn't spam skills like Ziggs. Chalice would be enough, and can be upgraded into a really awesome item for Vik. Boots of Lucidity was my major option waaaaaaay back when i started playing with Viktor (and that was when he got released). Maybe it's just my personal playstyle, but i do think that Vik should focus on more burst, and by burst i mean BURST ASAP. CD reduc é godly on him, but in a teamfight you should focus in causing as much dmg as possible and as fast as possible. And to to this you need those 15 MPen from sorc's. The rest of the enemies will be taken care by your teammates or even by yourself, when the CDs refresh. Now... itens like Iceborn Gauntllet? Frozen Heart? '-'... I saw that and i was like "wuuuuut nigga wen full crazy here" lol. Zhonyas is plenty, for real. You shouldn't be dealing with AD enemies, and if you are then: 1) you're facing AD champs at mid; 2) they're targeting you at teamfights with gap closers or 3) you should improve your positioning in teamfight (maybe 2 wouldn't even exist if you just went to 3... hmmm).

That's all, i think. Really glad that there are people out there that like Viktor so much that wouldn't bother to do a really well explained guide like yours!

I main Viktor and I gotta say,I agree with GrandMistressD. While I don't use Grands build, the masteries are all wrong on this build and the tough skin really isn't necessary on Viktor. I don't mind people playing and building Viktor different then me but this build is wasting his talents a little. Although with a little tweaking it could be a great build! Not gonna down-vote because that is a little harsh. :o

I disagree - the build looks really solid and the explanations are better than 99% of what people say on mobafire. Besides, if you're opinion was the only one that mattered, why both having more than 1 guide for each champion? especially 1 as versatile in builds as viktor.

Out of curiousity, I looked at GrandmasterD's guide, and it IS very old. For someone with as many posts as him, Daedalusx99 blows him out of the water. Solid +1.

Your statement makes no sense whatsoever but I don't feel to spend a long time writing a post because my experience tells me no guide writer ever listens, or at least 99% doesn't. If he wants to know what is wrong and why, I can explain it perfectly as Viktor is one of my most played champions for mid.

Additionally, feel free to elaborate why my build is outdated because I can assure you that it isn't, it actually got stronger in S3.

While I appreciate your defense, that's a little uncalled for. He's allowed to disagree with my build, and I'd prefer everyone to be civil, as I created this guide to educate.

Based on that P.S. comment, someone is clearly upset that their Viktor guide is out of date. Author clearly stated he wanted explanations, and this guy just says he's wrong without any detail. Poor form from such a "reputable" mobafire member.

Downvoted in the end after a closer look. The runes and the build are just completely wrong. You get two expensive items viktor doesn't need. The skill sequence and masteries are not to my liking but I guess that's a personal preference. The build is just awful. I like to have more Viktor guides out here, but this just isn't good enough.
