Although the item build is essentially fine, I still don't see why power transfer is maxed first. By your first back you should NEARLY ALWAYS have enough for Death Augment. Maxing E with this gives one shot caster waves. Taking q at level five is dangerous, imho, as it's your anti gank tool and can sometimes secure a double on a gank.

The only phrase I appear to have used word for word is "Bread and Butter" which quite honestly is a common phrase. Otherwise everything both of us have written is pretty common knowledge to anyone who has every used Viktor on the subject of Death Ray. So thanks for the downvote.

On this guide, it's not good enough. You don't get any Doran's at all and just save up to get that augment first. This creates a terrible laning phase in which most enemies will just roll over you. I don't get the flat CDR glyphs since you don't get any additional CDR.

When you max out Death Ray first, you'll need an extra point in Q in order to maintain your lane presence, don't tell me this isn't the case; because if you never needed it before, you were playing against bad players who had no clue on what they were doing or dealing with.

most matchups seem fine but a couple are wrong. Katarina and Akali are very easy to deal with if you max out Q and abuse early-game dominance. They are melee and will have a hard time farming and trading with you. Katarina can't engage you if your ult is up since yours will interrupt her's and your harassment definitely outclasses her's since your AP scalings are much higher. Akali can't fight you, simple as that. If she tries to burst you, you can go for your close range combo and nuke her down; also she has little answer to your harassment.

While Kassadin isn't extremely hard, he isn't easy to Viktor. Silence will still shut you down and any decent kassa player will make your life miserable in mid lane. You'll need some real skills to win this lane. Also, you'll need runes and definitely a different item build.

Galio turns into a farm lane but you can dominate him early-game quite easily. LeBlanc is easily beaten with Viktor if you're willing to go for a high mres rune page and rush Abyssal Mask.

not entirely true, it does help to prevent ganks but you will need at least 2 points in Q in order to maintain lane dominance, otherwise you just get rolled early-game and you are so strong in early-game.

incorrect. Taking one point in it makes you very hard to gank, which is better than being dead.

Lots of walls of texts and i think leveling up your aoe stun until like level 8 (when you teamfight) is also better for Viktor because if he levels it up when laning he loses a lot of pressence in lane.

Over All Good Guide for your second:D I can feel what they are saying that its a little Dull, but its Very informative. It has everything you could expect from a good guide, Situational items, Counter-picks, and the break down of Summoner Spell use. I agree with you totally on the Promote spell, it tends to be a pretty good pick vs Mid APs cuz it does take a bit for them to take down, and like you said, you can send a lane some Support and get Gold out've it, not all ways the best Spell, but definitely one thats is viable. But yeah keep up the Good work Brah :D

I admit I have never gotten used to Viktor's terrible auto attack animation. It's clunky and hard for me to last hit with. So I largely revolve my tactics around destroying the enemy laner. The only champs I have had problems doing this too are Morgana and Anivia.

I'll give it a shot, it never hurts to try something new, and it might give me a new trick in my arsenal depending on the situation. I never have much trouble with lane dominance or cs'ing, i'm pretty decent at last hitting. but i can see the points your making. thanks for the input.

Well, the thing is, Viktor relies heavily on lane dominance. He sucks at farming (Until you have 3 ranks in Death Ray). And has bad sustain. He want's people to get out of his lane. And he must do it quickly and violently. People don't expect me to charge head first at them and peg them with Power Transfer. With rank two, that move largely allows Viktor to actually win Q trades because of the shield now being faster.

Just different playstyles. I prefer a hyper aggressive Viktor. I want people to come at me. XD when I do, I Gravity Field, Death Ray ahuehueheuehue, Power Transfer, gg at early levels.
