Your main goal as this build is to never B. Most games I play I usually get to about 11-13 before I either die or a situation that merits going back occurs. If played right vlad can carry 2-3 feeders. And at end game you have around 860 AP and pushing about 7k hp (with red and blue pot).

You should use health runes and magic pen runes.

Stay back and harass with your q, the main goal is not to b. Try to get your q on the enemy champ, but if you cant use it on a minion, make sure you use it whenever it is up an you are missing health, also, don't push when you're low on health just farm health from minions with q. You probably wont be able to get a kill until level 6, at this point you will have your ulti, pop it ignite, throw in a q and then pool through them (Usually through the turret). At this point you may be a tad low, just back up and farm health; you should be able to be back up to at least 80% by time the enemy champ comes back.

At this point you should have enough level advantage and health advantage to do a moderate amount of harassing. You should initiate fights. Go in, use your q and e repeat till you are at about 50% health, then pop your ulti on the team and pool on them, most of the time this will result in a victory in the team fight if your team is anywhere competent. Also, dont forget to buy potions! red and blue are very beinifital to vlad due to his passive.
