I play Twisted Fate a lot. So I decided to show you some tricks of mine.
Most people wouldnt pick Rod Of Ages but since it has Mana and Health regeneration it is very usefull choice. When you play Tf you have to balance his Ap, CDR and Health. Yea i is hard but not impossible.
After playing some time you will find out that you know exactly the combination that would fit your game.

Playstyle

Since Tf is very squishy champ you should try moving as much as possible. Even when you farm so it would be harder for enemy to hit you with their attacks. Also try to dodge as many attacks you can. Quick turn to letf or right works most of the time.

Example: When you stun an enemy and hit him with your Q. When the stun end quickly move to side so he propably will miss his next attack.

Spells
Flash is ordinary choice for escape however you can use it to get the kill too. When enemy has a low HP lock in your Gold Card and flash to him. Dont tower dive like this :)

Barier is rarely seen but very usefull spell. TF lacks at close fight. So use Barier in order to get the advantage in it. You can pick heal instead of it. But i found Barier more comfortable.

I updated this Guide to fit the new meta of ap tanky midlaners. It works most of the time. However sometimes you have to buy some situational items.
