Intro

Ok, so I'm going to make the guide very short and to the point. I have recently started playing quite a bit of Wukong in ranked games solo top. I play him as a high resistance bruiser as opposed to stacking health of him. I find that this build can handle most solo top champs early game and gives amazing survive mid and late game. Also this build gives great damage through early sheen and wit's end.
Now I'm not going to hold your hand and tell you how to play Wukong because that can only be learned from experience. But, early game he can beat pretty much any top champ with the masteries and runes I use in this guide. Don't be afraid to poke and harass champs with an early e + q combo. Although at the same time do not become too focused at harassing that you start to miss creep. Through playing him often in solo lanes you will eventually get a feeling for what champs he can go toe to toe with and what champs get an edge on you as the laning phase progresses (although there are not many),

Early Game

Early game your main focus should be lane control and last hitting. Remember this is a guide for solo lane play. If you are facing another melee bruiser be sure to make them hurt every time they try and get a last hit. With the armor that you have to the start of the game you wont take that much damage at all so feel free to poke quite often while still maintaining last hits on creep.
If there is a ranged champ your against ex. Nidalee, Vlad put the major hurt on them early. Make sure you are in control of the lane while still being careful to not get ganked by their jungle.
As soon as you can head back to base and get your wriggle's and ninja tabi. At this point you can harass them even more while consistently having the river warded to watch for ganks. Use the end of laning to get your sheen as fast as possible.

Mid Game

By this point in the game you should be quite close to finishing your tri force. After that look at what the enemy team has. If they are stacking armor go straight into a last whisper, or if they have quite a bit of ap go for wit's end first. The order you get these two items just depends on the composition and item choice of the enemy team.
During the mid game look for opportunities to back door turrets since the damage from your sheen proc with your q melts turrets.
Team fights are where you will shine the most wait till either your team started the fight or if you see the opportunity nimba strike on to the carry and spin to win.

Late Game

Late game is easy 5 shot turrets and kill everyone...
