Hello guys. This guide/build will feature the wat that i play Xin Zhao. (Non jungle). In order to succeed in the field of justice you must follow this guide and you will become the perfect anti carry in the game.

The runes might seem strange but in my opinion they are the best choice for Xin Zhao. Armor penetration is something i always get on a melee DPS. Some attack speed seals to be able to spam your Q and that will also make a good combo with your W. Attack speed glyphs. You guys may think this is an overkill but it actually isn't enough, anyways yo know what they are needed for. And finally health quintessences. These will help you be more healthy early levels.

I set up Xin Zhao's masteries pretty offensively. I take increased attack speed and cooldown reduction, improved Exhaust, health and mana regeneration increase, improved ghost, bonus experience gained and 1gold per 10 seconds. You might be wondering why i didn't go defensive masteries, well I get my defense with my offense and runes. Exhaust will be needed to slow enemies down (most of the time). And ghost will help you run away AND chase down.

Pros:
Great assassin
Good ways to surprise enemies
Very strong against casters
Very strong solo laner
Can assasinate some tanks
He is demacian
He does not retreat

Cons:
Not so strong early game without the support of runes and masteries
Sometimes you just cannot decide when to attack and when to retreat
Not enough survivability

Jungling is a pretty normal thing for Xin Zhao and a pretty strong one aswell. But I am not really familiar with the pattern, the items and the build i should get for him. I might do some testing and develop my own guide for jungle Xin Zhao.

Team work... one of the hardest things in this game. I like to play Xin Zhao solo top. He is aswell very strong in 1v1 battles just like Garen. But once again I did some more testing just not to leave this chapter empty.

1. You want to lane against AP casters.
2. You dont want to lane against tanks.
3. You want to have your teammate tank turrets and other attacks for you.
4. You would like to lane with your tank if you dont want to solo top.
5. DO NOT INICIATE
6. DO NOT THINK THAT YOU CAN KILL THEIR WHOLE TEAM.

There you go guys. I am sorry for the caps but I believe it is the only way to make sure that you guys will read the most important things.

nAnd finally farming. Farming is a very fun thing to do. Xin Zhao's attack animation is pretty nice so you shouldnt really have many problems. But still I will tell you how to keep up pressure on your opponents to be able to last hit even easier.

You can use your skills pretty effectively for farming. For example :
early levels you will want to use your talon strikes if you cannot get your minions in time
if there is a lane with a lot of minions on it you can feel free to charge in the middle of them
and use your ultimate, it has a relatively low cooldown.

About the pressure. This is what you need to do in order to keep your enemies low and afraid.
1 Cast talon strikes
2 Charge into the enemy
3 Complete your 3 strikes and run away while the enemy is knocked up.

This is the standart combination of skills that I personally use :
1 Activate talon strikes
2 Activate your battle cty
3 Charge into the enemy
4 Attack 3 times
5 Cast ultimate
6 Use talon strikes again
7 Charge into the enemy
8 Battle cry
9 Keep on chasing with talon strikes
10 Kill the enemy
11 Type in chat : "FOR DEMACIA"
12 After you die turret diving type in chat : "A demacian does not retreat"
