Introduction To Me

Hi there. My name is Ethan and I currently reside on the EUNE server under the Summoner Name: Xephire. I have been playing League for a while now and although I have a tendency to lose my temper and give up in matches - which I believe is the reason I am not/have never been ranked Gold+ - I believe I am generally speaking an above average player, especially with certain champs. My account, Xephire is strictly speaking my main account, but it is somewhat of a "Jack of All Trades" account in that none of the champions I own have a particularly high mastery score. Despite Xephire being my main and highest ranked account (Silver 1 in Season 5), my favourite account to play on is on the EUW server, and is called SSG Goku. This account is almost entirely dedicated to Yasuo and I firmly believe if I was to consistently play the champ on ranked I could easily reach Gold - if not higher - this Season.

My mastery score with Yasuo is 141.6k at the time of writing this guide, compared to my second most played champion Vayne, sitting at a mere 58.4k.

Introduction To Yasuo

Yasuo is a champion who regardless of what anyone tells you, is NOT a "noob champion", nor is he easy. It may look incredibly easy when the enemy Yasuo grabs a multi-kill on your team, but it is not. To get to this point of precise timing and good position, you must play him a LOT. I would describe him as being similar to Zed in this sense; minus the fall-off late-game.

Once you take the time to learn Yasuo, understand how to utilise his E's mobility on minions, and time your Wind Wall you will be able to appreciate how much of a monumental carry this champion can be.

Runes

Honestly, there is perfect rune combination for Yasuo as many different players have their own preference, but I personally opt for:

- x9 AD Marks
- x9 Seals of Scaling HP
- x9 Glyphs of Magic Resist
- x3 Quints of Attack Speed

These are highly interchangeable with other runes, depending on what you want or have, so test out different combinations to find what works for you

Masteries

Listed above are the masteries of my preference after lots of experimenting, however YOU as an individual may want to adjust them.

Items

Experiment all you like as I have done myself, but these items are what provide Yasuo with the highest damage output/power spike and allow you to win 1v1's with almost (perhaps: even) everyone:

1st - Statikk Shiv
2nd or 3rd - Infinity Edge
3rd or 2nd - Berserker's Greaves

After these 3 core items you must build around the needs of your team. For example: enemy team has stuns/roots that are a problem? Build QSS. Enemy team Full AD and focusing you? Buy Randuin's Omen. And so on...
Yasuo is very versatile item-wise.

Abilities

Start Q for for good trading and safe (if necessary) farming.
Second E for mobility and easy farming.
Third W for fleeing or mid-trade defence.

From this point you will max E, then W, and finally Q.

Conclusion

If you like to be the shining carry of the team, Yasuo is for you. But you must allow patience to learn him, research combos and tips when you have the time, and eventually you will be very pleased that you decided to do so. Feel free to ask any questions and feedback is appreciated. Please be friendly as this is my first guide and was intended to be simple :)
