Very few people play this top if you are unlucky enough to face one then goodluck. Same hardcore matchup as in mid.

Ambessa

Easy lane. You outscale him

Fiora

Very difficult matchup. She wins early and outscales.

Gangplank

Annoying but if you play safe enough you eventually outscale him and highly outvalue in every teamfight. Go Dorans shield he takes ignite everytime and is basically ranged.

Garen

Pretty annoying and boring to play against. Don't go for unnecessary dives and space with your E from his E. Shieldbow is the key here against his ult. You outvalue in teamfights and scale better.

Gnar

Skill matchup. One of the fairer ranged champs. Buffer his cc with your Q3 or ult. He is dangerous because he is one of the strongest teamfight champions.

Gragas

Annoying. Your E is the most important spell here. Cc buffer is a thing you should keep in mind

Gwen

Easy lane. She scales really good but that shouldn't be a problem since yone scales just as good. Only have to watch out for his fully charged Q and don't waste your spells into her W.

Irelia

Very hard matchup. She wins early and outscales. Need to have alot of experience should run exhaust.

Jax

He hardcounters you. Key is spacing with your E when he E's.

Jayce

Malphite

Lane is easy but he will barely die because they all play as safe. Very annoying because of that. He scales really dangerously because he heavily stacks armour. lane is easy but he might outscale eventually.

K'Sante

Skill matchup.

Illaoi

Don't fight while she has ulted. Just get out and kill her after. If you are too impatient to wait for her ult to run out you can take ignite and then use it while fighting while her ult.

Camille

Cho'Gath

You outscale. easy lane. Don't fight when too low because his ult can still execute you anytime.

Darius

Very difficult. He can run you down if you trade badly too many times. Save your Q3 or E to dodge inside his Q. Shieldbow is VERY important just like against Garen.

Kayle

This is actually an easy lane but she outscales 99% of champions and will never be useless no matter how hard you stomp her. The champion is just broken but for laning phase she is not difficult to deal with.

Kennen

Mordekaiser

Watch out for his ult. You outscale him but when you're low he can kill your in ult. And dont be scared to fight early when you use ignite. Yone favoured skill matchup.

Nasus

Easy lane. They're all bad and camp under turret after getting killed once or twice. He outscales and his W is annoying as hell. Easy lane tho and you out value in teamfights. Look to Freeze wave and don't let him farm for free.

Olaf

Very hard. Don't get baited when he's low. His W shield is strong and lifesteal too. His ult is very strong against you. Olaf scales badly into the Late game so you eventually outscale when both were full build.

Ornn

Easy lane and you outscale. Dodge his W though. It deals high damage to you with the AA proc.

Pantheon

He is way stronger in early game than you. Difficult matchup especially because they take ignite.

Poppy

Underrated and VERY strong against Yone.

Quinn

Annoying and not fun. Ranged but not as bad as vayne or varus.

Renekton

One of the hardest matchups. His entire kit counters Yone.

Riven

Hardcore matchup. Riven is insanely broken. Run exhaust here.

Rumble

Sett

He hardcounters you and statchecks early. Your good E usage is the most important thing here to space him.

Shen

Underratedly strong. His W is very annoying. His damage is insanely high don't thing he's weak and don't get hit between his sword.

Singed

Bad champ and easy lane. Just never chase him especially when he ghosts (you won't catch him) so don't walk inside his gas. You outscale and outvalue in teamfights aswell.

Sion

Easy lane and you outscale. Watch out for his ult back to lane and his sudden W shield.

Swain

Easy lane and you outscale. Just keep in mind that his ult duration is permanent as long as you are inside so simply go away just like Illaoi ult when Swain ults and wait until it runs out. LT here instead of Fleetwork. Only Ranged matchup with ryze where LT is better because they fight for longer durations just like you.

Ryze

Very high damage champ and annoying cc. Run LT here instead of Fleetwork. Only ranged matchup with Swain where LT outvalues FW.

Tahm Kench

Cancel his dive and don't step too near if he has ult because he can insec you inside his turret. Be careful and play safe if he runs ignite or exhaust. You outscaled after bork.

Teemo

Very annoying because of his blind. Switch to Oracle Lens after 3rd base or when you both are 6 so you can deal easier with his shrooms.

Tryndamere

hard matchup your E spacing is the key here. You should go Wardens mail early and finish it to Randuins as a 4th item or 5th.

Trundle

You outscale after bork. He is strong early so don't play too agressive trades. His R heals him alot so don't get baited.

Urgot

He isn't too difficult. You outscale but watch out for his ult execute. Don't get hit by his E otherwise you will have a bad time.

Varus

Insanely hard because varus is broken on top lane. He has too much way too much damage especially because he has a good amount of health/sustain aswell.

Vayne

Hardcore matchup. I would just ban it. Scales way too well.

Volibear

You outscale but he is a stat checker especially early. Space with your E when he Q's. Let his W run out before you engage again.

Warwick

You outscale. Spacing is important. Try cc buffer his ult and watch out for his Q go through you. So use your Q3 wisely. Early might be hard but later on your outvalue him aswell. WW is pretty bad

Yasuo

Highly yasuo favoured. Go exhaust.

Yorick

You outscale and his early is pretty easy too. You can run ignite to fight him while he has his ult up. The only time where he can kill you is when you are unaware and let you poke too much and he has his ult up.

Zaahen

This champ is bad. You outscale and early better. Let his passive run out always before it fully stacked. Don't dive him as his ult can save him.

Cassiopeia

Very hard. Predict dodge her ult. Her E is the reason why this matchup is so difficult.

Zac

You outscale and easy lane aswell. He can be dangerous though with ignite so don't underestimate his all in.
