it would be perfect if you add a "When to pick Yorick" section, to know his synergys and who he can counter.
+1 ^^
Black cleaver is pretty terrible on Yorick tbh.
You're better off without it.
About half of Yorick's damage to players will be magic damage since both his W and E deal magic damage. So armor pen is pretty lack luster on him.
You'd be much better off buying a defensive/cdr item instead such as locket of iron solari, glacial shroud, spirit visage.
I also like Ice born gauntlets as my sheen item over trinity force. It gives me CDR and sheen and counts as my main armor item.
Please try out the
The fact that you deal about "half" of the damage is not true. Your W falls off hard lategame; it will deal about 100 damage. The goal there is the slow and the extra ghoul.
Your E pretty much brings your sustain: Mostly through your the normal attacks of the summoned one. There he the
In about 2 hits, without your Q you will have the same about of 400 normal damage there. Then comes your Q. The ghoul there deals 45 more damage than every other ghoul when he hits: Means he has about 100 damage per hit to champions. The big "burst" there hits about~ 400. The same amount of damage as both spells before. But still you have no autoattacks there. Every autoattack, even without trinity-force will hit for about 250 damage. I bet, that only 20% damage is magical of Yorick's kit.
Sure, in very early stages are WAY better items. But in mid/lategame it is a must-have for him.
Trinity is a bad item on yorick, his kit only scales with AD, and health the other stats are largely wasted. Since His ghouls only scale with Ad, as they are his primary damage, as well as survivability, Ad is where is damage is at, and his survivability depends on them staying out which requires health.. The sheen proc is nice, but you will get more damage from any solid ad item, which will be much cheaper as well.
Since we are bulding 40% cooldown, Trinity is not about the extra stats. Sheen brings a load of damage to our spells, since the next attack deals 100% more damage. This is another aa, right in hit:
Having a Trinity highers this damage up to 150%. We can use a spell every second; means every second spell we get 150% EXTRA damage to the next attack. This means, that we deal about 75% more damage overall with Autoattacks. The Bloodthirster has a load of live steal and AD, but our sustain is made of our

Good stuff, bad quints
Hello!
What Quints would you take? I prefer MS even more since they "balanced" the movement-speed. you enjoy a really good mobility due to the fact that you have that much MS + you are nearly ungankable. Use W and run!
But Yorick owns Dr. Mundo at solo top.
