Introduction
Just a heads up, this is my first build, I do hope it helps people trying to get in the swing of Yorick, and if it doesn't, let me know what went wrong. Thanks.
I went with Might runes because, well it should be obvious, but Yoricks ghouls will get a bonus from the bonus (not base) attack damage you have, and he isn't going to be good early game anyway so might as well give him scaling runes.
Defence and Shielding runes will help to prevent him from dying, which he does quite easily if you are not careful. With these runes you should be able to keep your hp from dropping too low with the help of your E.
Again, the HP Quintesences are to prevent you from dying early game.

The main focus here is to stay alive, and thats what the masteries reflect greatly. Defence is a great thing to have as Yorick, since people underestimate him and think they can 2 or 3 shot him. It suprises people when you have the ability to take a hit to the face and dish one back at them.
I went with Clarity for easy mana replentish in the field early game, and Flash to either chase down or get out of trouble in a pinch. You tend to run out of mana quite quickly before getting Manamune, so Clarity will give you a second wind to harass some more and hopefully get a kill/assist.
Flash has gotten me out of so many binds I can't count them. Not only will it keep you alive, but it can help you chace down an enemy if your friends decide to chase.

Early game you wont have the mana to support Yorick, and thats fine, thats what Clarity is for. Once you get Manamune, that chances however, as you have the mana to basically cast your ghouls any time you want. Cooldown reduction boots help you summon your ghouls more often. After you get a Frozen Mallet, proper boots, and Manamune, your going to want to start to dish out some damage. It is costly, but that Infinity Edge will boost your ghouls (and yourself) up to some okay damage. By that time however, people will start getting armour, so grab a Last Whisper to pierce through that. The Hextech Gunblade at the end will help you and your teammates with an additional slow you can use.
Start harasing with your E early game, it does moderate harassment damage and heals you. You can also use your W to do some splash damage and a slow when chasing or ganking an enemy. Q however will not be used a lot until late game, as it requires you to actually hit something to get it started, so use it only when pushing a lane when there are no enemy heros around. Your ult is best used on the strongest member of your team. It can also be used on yourself when taking down a tower by yourself, to get those few extra hits in.
