How to "tank" with yorick.

The basics of this build are simple, spam omen of famine to keep your health full. With that in mind I always max out that power first, going to my aoe next, and finally getting my speed buff maxxed last.

Like all tanks, health is your main concern, that and MR. This build strives to achieve a good health lvl by focusing on items that increase your heals effectiveness.

I personally go with flash and ignite. I may switch teleport out for flash if I will be running a solo lane or mid for easy access to the store.

Once you get your first 3 items, you can survive in a team fight by spamming famine every time it's available. While you can't stand toe to toe with an entire team, by using your skills wisely to do some creative run tanking, you can keep them focused on you and not on your team.
