Hey guys,
Today i decided to make a Yuumi guide ( this is my first ever guide so i hope to do it right xD ) , for those one of you who wants to play this champion but have no idea how to start. Yuumi is actually pretty hard and risky to play , a lot of people dont realise that. When i first started playing her. I lost 6 games in a row because i didnt know what is she supposed to do. After that however , i got into top 10 Yuumi players in EU and top 30 in the world. Thats why i decided to give you a little guide :) Hope you enjoy it. I also filmed a gameplay and explaining which runes to take, items and spells for those one of you who dosnt want to read this whole thing. Will put them at the end of the topic , Enjoy ^^

Summoner spells :
1. Ignite
2. Exhaust
Some Yuumi players take Heal when their ADC takes TP. But thats super bad. When you see your adc takes TP , tell him to change to Heal , You cant travel with him when he uses his TP. So you will lose a lot of EXP and he will go to lane without you. Which is super bad.

Runes :
1. Summon Aery - Gives great shield for your team + some extra poke damage.
2. Manaflow Band - Easy to max with your Q , at max it gives you 250 mana and some extra mana regen.
3. Transcendence - Gives you 10% cdr which is great and when you get max cdr it gives you AP.
4. Gathering storm - The best late game rune
5. Cosmic Insight - Gives you 5% more cdr to everything.
6. Future's market - We all know the feeling when u need 50 more gold but you cant wait and u need to go to lane right now. With this rune you can buy the item you need , Lets say your adc needs Ardent but you are 50 or 100g short. If you go to lane without it , you might lose the lead. Thats why this rune is great.

Rune Stats :
9 AP
9 AP
90 HP
We dont take Armor or MR , because we dont need it , we will be in our ADC most of the times.

Spell order:
at level 1 we always want to start with our Q , we need to start stacking our manaflow + we can poke and get our quest done.
After that we taking E at level 2.
We maxing E first after that W , ult when we can and last Q
So the spell order looks like that :
E - W - Q ( R whenever we can )


Items:

Starting items :
1. Spellthief's edge
2. Healing potion (1) - Why 1? Because you mostly wont need it , as i said the only time you will go out is to proc your passive and get some mana , Most of the times you will be in your ADC. So you wont take that much damage. + that way you will save 50g and get some items faster :) I most of the times not using the potion and just selling it.
3. Warding Totem (trinket) / Change to Oracle at level 9

First Recall :
ok here depends on how you did at laning phase theres 3 options. ( If you still have the potion now its time to sell it. )

1st option :
You got a kill and now dominating the lane, in this case you need to buy:
1. Dark Seal - If you already dominating the lane , you have to buy it and start stacking it. It gives you tons of AP
2. Here it depends on your jungle.
If your jungle is behind , you need to buy - Faerie Charm (3) and Control ward (1)
If your jungle dominatign enemy jungler - Faerie Charm (4)

2nd option:
Your adc was killed by enemys and now you are Behind , in this case you need to buy?:
1. Dark Seal
2. Faerie Charm (3) and Control ward (1)
Why Dark seal? Because if they are ahead , they will most likely push. With control ward you can set up your jungler for a gank. Dark Seal can help you if the jungler gank, you will get stacks and some extra AP and mana to help your adc aswell if your jungle doesnt gank.

3rd option:
Lane is even. Nobody has kills , its boring farm time.
1. Faerie Charm (5)
Here you dont want to buy Dark Seal because you dont know how the game will go , maybe your lane will be smashed , maybe you will smash them thats why when its even i like to wait and see how the lane will go. Extra mana regen will help us with the poke.

Q: Why so many Faerie Charms tho?
A: Because Yuumi is mana hungry , yes we have the passive but its not enough. Changes to support items made her life a little bit easier but its not enough. Thats why at first back up you buying that many Faerie Charms.

1st item pathing to mid game:
Here it depends on what ADC you have and vs what you playing againts.
If you have some1 that uses Ardent , like vayne , jinx , kog , varus... etc...
1. You have to buy Ardent.

If you have an ADC that is not using ardent
You instead going for
1. Athene's unholy grail

If you play againts heavy CC like leona or morgana
You must go for
1. Mikael's Crucible
No matter if you play with adc that uses ardent or not, Mikael's Crucible will help you to survive lane and not overfeed enemy botlane.

Late Game / Full build ( with ardent adc )
1. Ardent Censer
2. Mikael's Crucible ( if they have heavy CC ) / Athene's unholy grail ( if they dont have heavy CC )
3. Mejai's Soulstealer ( if you dominating the game ) / Shurelya's Reverie ( if not dominating )
4. Twin Shadows ( if you having problem to catch them )
5. Control wards ( for denying vision on objectives like baron or Dragon ) / super Late game we using the spot for Redemption
6. Support item.

Late Game / Full build ( without adrent adc )
Pretty much the same build but now we dont have to worry about Control wards because we can fit them in
1. Athene's unholy grail
2. Mikael's Crucible
3. Mejai's Soulstealer ( if you dominating the game ) / Shurelya's Reverie ( if not dominating )
4. Twin Shadows ( if you having problem to catch them ) / Redemption ( if you have no problems catching enemy team )
5. Control wards
6. Support item


Little bit about gameplay , i made a video about it but still will talk about it a little bit
( if you get CC-ed when you are out of your W , your W gets 5sec cd , that means you cant jump to some1 in 5sec and they can kill you )

Laning Phase:
You want to poke enemies with your Q as much as possible. Stacking manaflow and getting your quest done.
You have to go out when enemy uses their CC so you can autoattack an enemy champion and get your mana back and some shield :)

Mid Game:
Stay with your adc , try to get in as much fight as possible. Don't jump out of your W unless they used CC.

Late Game:
If your adc is low , jump on some1 that is stronger than him and try to support that person as much as possible

Teamfights:
If your adc is bad at positioning , jump on some of the frontliners so you can catch a lot of people with your ult
If your adc is good at positioning , stay with your adc and try to protect him with your ult
Jump out of your W whenever you can so you can shield your adc!
The shield of your passive is super strong and you have to use it whenever you can.
