Introduction

Hello, Im MadKimchi~ Currently in Silver and is a Zed main! I've always liked zed because of his skill set and jukes. I hope you guys learn something from this guide. I picked up zed when I first started to play league and he was on free week. I played him and I didn't know what to do with him, so I stopped playing him. After a few months when I hit lv30, I decide to pick him up again and HE IMMEDIATELY BECOMES MY FAVORITE. I realize that zed is becoming popular because of a few pro players like Faker and Bjergsen and I hope this guide can help people out. Enjoy!

Runes

I have armor penetration instead of full AD because I personally think Zed with armor penetration allows you to win trade with ap mages rushing zhonyas in lane. However, if you want to go full AD runes, that is still good.

Early Game

Zed's early game is really STRONG. Your lv3 harass is super strong and your passive wins you trade very easily. I would suggest to poke with your W - E - Q combo and try to not hit minions when you poke because that lowers the dmg of your q.

Zed doesnt have much escape except for ult and w. Keep in mind that using your shadow in lane is a risky move because a jungler with good cc can lock you down when your w is on cd.

Mid Game

Mid game is where Zed SHINES. Zed can easily shove out the lane and roam bot for some easy kills. Try to help bottom and ult the squishy targets and push turrets. This will give your team a good advantage.

Late Game

The only thing you can do late game is to split push and to assassinate enemy's carrys.
When in team fights, your ultimate shadow allows you to keep distance and is a path to escape as well.

Conclusion

Zed would probably be the best assassin in the game other then Talon. He is extremely hard to master and is also fun to play. The only way you can become better at him is to practice, practice and practice. I've been playing him for a year or so, and I personally think Zed has the best outplay potential out of the entire game. :) That is all :D.
