Welcome to my first guide in MOBAfire! In this guide, I will be revealing my thoughts and ways of using Zed. Hope you guys will enjoy and if you felt this is helpful, please help by voting up to promote this guide :)

For the runes, I have chosen Armor penetration because it will benefit you alot in early game. I don't recommend flat AD runes because you won't be seeing much effect at early game, which means your opponent will have an easier time dealing with you. Take some armor runes and MR runes to reduce the pokes from your opponents.

Masteries, 21/9 is just perfect for Zed and any other AD assasins.

I usually use ignite and flash, another option can be ignite and barrier to get higher chances of drawing first blood, but will have a harder time escaping from unexpected ganks

Some of you might think why I did not include items like Tri force, Frozen mallet and Guardian Angel. Well... as everyone knows, Zed is an AD assassin, so build him like one.

Tri force is not recommended because Zed does not need any crit chance and mana, so it will be a waste of gold.

Why not frozen mallet? The reason is simple, Zed does not need any tanky items and frozen mallets are for champs who AA alot to kill, Zed does not require that much AA to kill, he rely on his burst spells.

Guardian angel, like I have said above, Zed don't need tanky items.

Pros
+Extremely High AD burst
+Is a ninja
+High juke potential
+counters almost every mid laners
+An in-build flash with shadows
+Has a nice butt :)

Cons
-Is very squishy
-Painfully slow without boots

My usual skill combos will be something like this
W - E - W - AA - Q - back off

For late game, using this combo should assure you a kill on an opponent adc in less then 4 secs, if not, you would have failed as an assasin.

R - E - R - AA - Q.....if your opponent is not dead yet, then chase and use this, W - E - W - AA - Q . You should be hearing this announcement, "Legendary!!!" :D
