Yeah, I've been applying the same set up for each of my newer sigs. And my style is still evolving. To date, my most "advanced" sig has been the one used in this weeks contest. I just need to darken it a little (as I mentioned before) and all of a sudden it wont look like it can cause seizures when you blink your eyes at it.
Next step will be to try to do work in a similar vein to your current works Xiao ^_^.

and yeah practise makes perfect and time, i'm sure sooner or later you'll be as good as me or better!
