Eh, I can do multiple things. But I'll let Xiao take care of it cuz he called it first. bahah
Looking forward to the result :)
actually I just did this yesterday

It turned out OK, but since the sig requested size was 450x250 the splashes turned out kinda narrow :x Xiao generally makes longer sigs, so it should look more natural, but I got this size requested, so not much I could do, or I would make it longer D: It still came out decently though.

Or hold shift while resizing something, if you're using Photoshop that is :) SHIFT + One of the corners = Not screwing up the dimensions, but SCALING the picture down instead. To copy the background over a larger span of canvas; Use the lasso-tool to copy a part of the background, and work from there.
Protip is lame, or protip is pro?
Protip is lame, or protip is pro?

I know....
I did do that.
But to fit the WHOLE THING to that size canvas, you can keep it to pixel scale but have to make it a little taller than width, and NOT shift corner, unless you want some cropped out (which looked **** for this picture)

Isn't the splash/stocks given larger than the canvas itself?
yes, but when merging, you have half the width, same height. merging the two and then putting it into the canvas makes each splash look narrower than if you did this with only 1 splash, which is why you need a longer canvas to compensate.
