I have no idea how people use the internet and still don't know how to use google.
Whatever you're thinking of asking use google first, always. That way you don't look stupid.
Even paint as a lasso tool, it is simply impossible for GIMP not to have one. And by the looks of it it's in plain sight, how can someone not find the lasso tool?

some white lines tho, might want to control click on the layer to select the render, then shrink the selection by 1 px and select inverse and delete to eliminate most of those lines...
also why the rendered by thing if you are just using it for yourself...o_O
