"You remind me of Good Will Hunting. Or Ramanujan. Take your pick."
Caveat Lector: This is going to come across as pretty rant-y and butthurt. I am both of those things at the time of writing, but I'm trying to articulate it appropriately and constructively. I'm also trying to not lay the blame at anyone's door but my own, and I am very well aware of my "weak link" status in the inhouses. So please people, try not to take this personally. You're all great people but I really didn't enjoy the games this evening.
I appreciate that I'm probably the weak link which makes the games difficult to balance for, but all 4 of those games were pretty stompy one way or the other, all to a similar degree judging from the scores. So... I guess balance might have needed tweaking here and there.
Actually, I think the problem is the massive skill gap during the laning phase. I know that you can't really tell people which role to take and all that, but having the two lowest ranked members of the team against Oxide and Mowen in lane just felt really ****ing frustrating. Especially when you're both 0/x/0 against them and Oxide is rapidly getting out of control. Which leads onto...
Also, what is it with you people and not surrendering? Game 3 was just ******** and was over before the 20min mark after Oxide and Mowen skull****ed me in lane. It was the first time I've been seriously tempted to ragequit in an inhouse.
Now, that might sound defeatist, but when the only lane that seems to be going ok-ish is mid, and the other team just win teamfight after teamfight, I really don't see the point in dragging it out for another 20 mins. And when 3 of the 5 team members are willing to surrender and just start another game, refusing to surrender just seems like you're simply being stubborn to prove that you're a superior person to everyone else. (I know you weren't trying to, but that's what it felt like)
In fact, if this hadn't pissed me off as much, I probably would have played better in game 4. Probably should've sat that one out tbh.

GG, WP, etc. Special mention to Mowen for hitting Aqua Prison with disturbing accuracy, and Khazem for trying his best to carry us in game 3.
