We had a rocky start, it was really back and forth but they had a slight advantage which turned into a significant advantage when

Well...I did it. It was like 3am so I forgot to screenshot the end-game of my last series game (was too busy marathoning to screenshot any of them actually), but at long loooooooooong last I finally reached my goal :D.
I gotta say, Season 3 was really something for me. I mean considering I was hopelessly stuck in Bronze for ~250 games I think its pretty awesome that I managed to sneak into Gold at the end. More importantly though I've come a ridiculously long way as a player; at the beginning of Season 3 I was an immature extremely volatile player who only really played
Garen and prioritized kills waaaaaaay more than those silly objectives. I had a negative attitude, little to no game knowledge whatsoever and averaged probably about 85-90 cs at 20 minutes. I did nothing but blame team-mates (nothing's changed there hue) and couldn't improve at all because I just didn't understand the game enough to know what mistakes I was making, I'd go 8-2 and lose because I didn't take any objectives or really help at all and then I would rage and ***** about how bad my team was.
Finally after changing my perspective and realizing I only had myself to blame for being in bronze, I managed to get to Silver and the rest is history (by that I mean readable in this thread).

Now that I'm Gold, I think I'll just play Normals and spam mid to try and increase my mid lane champ pool, I'll probably be maining it even harder in Season 4; I'll try as hard as I can to get it every game (without starting a flame war or pissing people off) and then just have 2-3 champs I can play decently in every other role if someone else takes it.
My goal is at least Platinum V by the end of Season 4, and honestly its extremely doable if I don't get like horridly screwed over in placements or something. Here's a quick breakdown of my current Ranked champion pool, along with my personal skill /10 with them:
1.
Renekton, 8/10
2.
Aatrox, 7/10
3.
Shen, 7/10
4.
Jax, 6/10
1.
Jarvan IV, 8/10
2.
Nocturne, 8/10
3.
Aatrox, 6/10
1.
Talon, 9.75/10 (can't give a ten, always more to learn)
2.
Wukong, 9/10 (bit of a niche, might not bring out as often in S4)
3.
Xerath, 8/10
4.
Zed, 7.5/10
5.
Ezreal, 7/10 (Triforce and Tear rush followed by a semi-blue build sorta thing)
6.
Pantheon, 7/10 (I can play him really really well still, but he's just so risky and prone to ganks that I haven't had any sort of significant success since Bronze)
7.
Kassadin, 6.5/10
8.
Kha'Zix, 6/10 (I can still play him but I haven't truly done well since the "re-work" and might abandon him completely if he doesn't receive any buffs soon)
-
Diana
-
Fizz
-
Brand
-
Lissandra (I feel pretty confident with her, but my only two Season 3 games went horrible overall outside of getting myself First Blood, needs a bit more time)
-
Twisted Fate (this one's a maybe)
1.
Caitlyn, 8/10
2.
Ezreal, 7.5/10
3.
Vayne, 6.5/10
4.
Graves, 6/10
And for support...if I really really really have to I can play
Leona but if that's gone I'm kinda screwed, I won't be spending any time expanding this roster either since I hate the role and well and truly suck at it.
Feel free to make any suggestions or comments!

Quick update, I couldn't keep my promise of only doing Normals because they're kind of a joke with instalockers/trolls/******ed team comps etc. Gold V seems to be a really really odd mix, you get some people who are really obviously elo boosted, some Diamond/high Plat smurfs who single-handedly end games in 10 minutes and everything in between all thrown into one division/mmr. I had climbed up to ~68 LP at one point but then promptly fell back to 0 and only recently snapped a 3 game skid, sitting at 22 now. The nice part about pre-season is I don't have to get overly upset at all over losses since it doesn't mean as much anymore so I've just been playing to practice and get better without a whole lot of care about winning/losing, I just focus on how I played and what I could've done better. Probably won't be screen shotting individual games unless I suddenly decide its important or something really crazy happens.
