aaand they just got shat on by fnatic

3.11 is not doing any favors for ozone and the team itself is just not adapting whatsoever

apparently dade doesn't even play gragas in solo queue while imp is mimicking genja's build from yesterday which means that ozone is completely out of ideas and is grasping at straws

i'm seriously disappointed in their play in general. imp isn't on playmaking AD carries and he's not dealing well with corki - meanwhile, dade and mata have just been off their game ever since SKT beat them in champions summer

i would not be surprised if ozone doesn't make it out of the group stage.

Yeah, Ozone are really disappointing right now. For a team that's praised as the 2nd coming of S1 CLG, they've really fallen short of expectations. This is such a far cry from the level of dominance we saw in the Allstars.

You can judge the strength of a team by there ability to adapt, especially in the middle of a tournament. Ozone looks incapable of doing that, baring some massive changes. With how well Gambit, Fnatic, and Vulcun have been playing I don't see them getting out of groups, even with so many matches still left to play

Curious how TSM is so much better at shutting out games against LD/GG.eu than either OMG or SKT1 have been thus far.

Both the TSM/LD and TSM/GG.eu games have been absolute stomps.

Looking forward to see how TSM does against SKT - unfortunately, it's getting late over here so I'll have to watch it tomorrow.

I'm surprised TSM got a couple of wins. I thought GGeu would do better than them at least.

so we are half way through the group stages and it's been a lot of fun! a couple surprises and some good LoL.

Group A looks a lot stronger than i thought they would. skt and omg both look pretty solid, but both tsm and lemondogs are capable of taking games off them. there is the potential for tsm to qualify, but i think lemondogs are too far behind in the standings to make it out. they definitely have a say in who does, though.

Group B is pretty wide open, not surprisingly. the surprise is that ozone looks waaaaay overrated and could struggle to qualify. their midlaner has been getting stomped and it looks like their bot lane (which had a lot of hype) is having problems with pick flexibility. vulcun needs to step it up as well, they looked really impressive against fnatic but made some really dumb decisions in their other games. they are going to need to regroup and preform well or this group is going to the two EU teams. i think gambit will beat fnatic the next time around. this one is gonna be fun.

also, i think it's interesting to note that it looks like the NA meta of heavy earlygame aggression and dives is beating the others right now. the korean teams look especially weak against this meta (and surprisingly so, since this is kinda where it started). if they don't adapt, we could see some upsets.

Thanks to Anal Samurai for the sig!
