Yeaaaaaah, this is partly because I'm duoing with Soulzyy though. His MMR is horrible because of a huge loss streak he had recently, it was so bad he literally got demoted to platinum, and only managed to get back to diamond because he went on a pretty big win streak with no losses in between, so he didn't have to suffer through his huge LP losses. His MMR is still horrible, and whenever I duo with him I also get much lower LP gains and bigger LP losses than I do when I solo queue.
Nah doesn't matter. It has some effect but I have a friend who had 6 winstreak, promotions into master tier. Lost 4 games -> 0 LP, 2 more and boom D2. lol. There was a riot post somewhere about this and it said something like they're just testing this new system out and they should have had more communication about it. "It will stabilize in the future". Reason was permanent top 200 challenger guys and easy climb from D1 to master tier so they had to change something.

With season 5 starting I'm gonna get back to updating this thread. I'm not gonna use the hey its talon thread anymore seeing as I have 3 smurfs now and it would be pretty silly to have a seperate thread for each, so I'll post about all 3 accounts here.
hey its talon is still a Talon only smurf, Uzi Junior is mainly ADC, and Vapora is for whatever the hell I feel like. It'll most likely will be a mix of Talon and ADC depending on what role I get. I'll be trying to play Talon as much as possible in placements though.
