Wintermond's Season 2 Solo Queue Journey

I was laning vs. Irelia and the lane turned into a farmfest because she coudln't kill me and I couldn't kill her. I should've pick GP, but I wanted Wukong because I usually do well vs Irelia as Wukong. Went for Wriggles and Dorans Blade to counter Irelia some and then into Randuins omen because they had a lot of AD damage. Mercury's and my passive were enough to let me tank Brand's damage midgame. I wanted to build Banshee's first, but then I noticed that we had very little damage because (I don't want to be offensive) our Cassiopeia and Jarvan played like Zombies. It was basically Graves vs. the enemy team. Well, I could've done better at many places, especially in teamfights where I often screwed up my ult on Vayne because she was faster than me with Ult. lol. Their team was very tanky aswell and I had verry little impact on the game besides of my ult due to me building very tanky. I felt like an idiot punching on their faces and not dealing any damage at all. lol. =>Should've picked GP, better bench Elementz.[/quote]

I started off with a Dorans Blade and had him zoned and low all the time, until skarner came for a gank when I dived Rumble. I could've killed Skarner aswell, but I didn't notice I was on the very edge of the turret range. Kog'Maw started to feed mid and rage hard, bot fed but at least they didn't rage. Gangplank did an overall nice job. Holy shit this Kog'Maw. I was 5/2 when the first teamfights started and we got completely raped because we had no AP carry and they just roflstomped us with AoE initiates. I went 5/8 in the end because everything was just a matter of time at some point. => Got to admit, I played good but at some point the lanes were so fed that the enemy team gained an extreme map control, especially with Skarner and Kat who would just roam around the map. One of the reasons I couldn't splitpush or farm after the laning phase.[/quote]
