Also, I'm not that much of a fan of the suggested changes to golem/lizard/dragon - I think they're fine the way they are and that any kind of "turret upgrade" would make the game unnecessarily complicated and would also stray farther away from DotA.

The only reason I love his idea is the filters in matchmaking. It would be quite refreshing not to team with Twitch the KS master.
Some of these ideas are good at the core, but they'd need incredible amounts of balancing. Shaco/Ashe/Tryndamere with that frozen elixir could one shot any tower diver. Towers would be feared more than they already are.

I'm going to have to agree with Jebus here.
Skill in LoL is not based on past games, it's based on the here and now. That's one of the reasons I do not like Wins and Losses dictating a persons skill.
I can tell you right now, I can go 100 losses in a row if all I get is bad teammates, or if all I play is Cassiopeia. Yet if I crank out Nunu, I rarely if ever lose.
The best LoL player ever, has yet to be discovered. He/She is probably still doing Unranked games, or even does only ARAM and other Customs.
I know when I played CoD in CAL, I played with all the best players. Then I came into our Basic Server and there was a guy who was crushing everyone legitimately, and I'm talking about the same CAL players we just got done playing in high rankings. Asked him to join us, and he refused stating, "Nah, I just play for fun".
As for Neutral mob changes, no thanks, not really needed.

Ok, I'm still kinda new here ~ as you can read my profile and see that I'm
not even LV30 yet and have never played a ranked match.
Though I have made it a habit to read the forums and watch youtube vids
ta see what I'm missing.. I gotta say.. this community is a little on edge ~
and to be honest, you all have a good reason to be.
Though I've only played a little over 200 games, it just seems that I get
matched up constantly with people that either just don't care or rage after
loosing a game or two and want some other people to "feel" their pain.
So.. I was bored and a bit inspired (by the combination of my 3rd Red Bull
and Star Bucks Coffee) to try and make this game a little better and more
fun to play.
I hope you like these suggestions.. ~ if not, then tell me why or what you
would like changed. an open debate is always fun ^_^
Creating a game needs to be more like Halo or Call of Duty... where you
select a few pre-made options into the type of game you would like to play
and you're setup with a few players that meet said criteria ~ thought, you
are also given the ability to "kick" players from your team if they're not on
par with what you want to play with for the next hour or so.. and the system
will look for other "said" players.

also, being that there is only one game type currently *(kill the Nexus) I'd say
game search filters are the way to go ~

As for the "More fun to play" that I was thinking of...
A couple of changes:
Ǭ Lizard and Golem now drop runes instead of instant buffs.
Ǭ Dragon drops a "Dragon Heart" when killed.
*(All three can be sold or used to create items.)
These "items" are called "Crystal Cores" ~ and in conjunction with new elixirs,
they can be used to power turrets or enchant the nexus with new abilities to
your minions.
They are relatively simple to make ~

$525 ~ Crystal Core: Empty
$315 ~ Ice Essence/Elixir:
Duration: 4 mins
Ǭ All normal attacks slow target attack/movement speed by 10%
$60 ~ Frost Core (Ice Essence + Crystal Core)
Duration: 3 mins
Ǭ Nexus: Minions w/Frost Attacks: 5% movement debuff per hit (5 stack limit).
Ǭ Nexus/Turret: -10% movement/attack speed of Enemy units within 100 RNG.
Ǭ Turret: On hit slows attack/movement speed by 8% (5 stack limit).
*(when stack at max, freezes target for 5 seconds ~ the target will shatter if hit with a crit).
Ǭ Turret: Explodes if destroyed ~ Freezes all units within 700 RNG.
$315 ~ Fire Essence/Elixir:
Duration: 3 mins
Ǭ All standard attacks result in burning the target ~ 6 DMG per second *(5 second duration) ~
4 Stack limit ~ x2 DMG per stack ~ Ignores Magic Resistance = 48 DMG per second *(max).
$60 ~ Blaze Core (Fire Essence + Crystal Core).
Duration: 3 mins.
Ǭ Nexus: Minions ~ x0.5 attack to DMG base
Ǭ Nexus/Turret: 25 DMG per second to all nearby targets within 100 RNG
Ǭ Turret: Increases DMG of Turret x0.75 base damage.
Ǭ Turret: Increases RNG of Turret by 125.
$315 ~ Catalyst Essence/Elixir (Blue Buff + Red Buff + Dragon Heart)
Duration: 2:00 mins
Ǭ Reduce all cool downs by 50%
Ǭ Increases HP/MP Regen by 120%
Ǭ Increases HP/MP by 200
Ǭ Increases base attack/magic DMG by 50%
$120 Ultima Core (Catalyst Essence + Crystal Core)

Ǭ Nexus: Ignore Enemy Inhibitor(s)

Please note, that this is all still just an idea or work in progress... so feel free ta voice your
opinions on whatever you think is over/underpowered or just simply confusing.
The goal of this is to make the game more fun and entertaining.. rather than just rushing
to get the best weapon/armor setup ~ it gives more options for gameplay and requires
you to think ^_^
anyway ~ if this goes over well, I'll create some new "skins" and models for the turrets and
minions... *(just for fun) :3
