Indeed, though i find being support/tank the hardest role if you have horrible partners, you need some cooperation to play it effectively or ull just have a very bad experience.

Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.

I main support and find myself frustrated at how it is the hardest role in which to carry a game if it goes badly. Better to take a more game-changing position, imo.

What worked back then pre 20 no longer works now. Time to adjust to the tougher environment you'll face. You'll need runes and masteries and champs that worked well for pre 20 (i.e. Master Yi) don't work as well as they used to lvl 20+.

As for the OP, just practice more. You're reaching a level where you're not getting carried by smurfs, and you're facing a lot of players who have fought hard to improve their game, just like you. Sometimes you get people who didn't have the guts to go PvP that often (I, for one, played Twisted Treeline from level 13 to 23, completely scared of the idea of going to SR x) ), so sometimes you also need to make up for other people's faults, etc.
