I'm a computer ******. I have no idea where to check how much disk space I have left, I'm on a laptop right now with "348 GB Free" on my OS Hard Drive thingy.

Where do you have your W3 installed? On your OS Hard Drive?
If you have 350GB free space there it shouldnt be the issue hmm... pitty i dont have W3 @ work so i could test out WTF is happening there.
Also, if nothing helps, you could have a corrupted install, and reinstall of the whole W3 could be the only option.
Hard to tell tbh, never got this issues.

that problem is caused cause you don't have permission. Set the blizzard updater to run as administrator, or download the battle.net patches directly from battle.net or 3rd party gaming websites (not recommended)
