No there not only people who say it are noobs who though xin was op and did not need a rework.
This is not a rework its a buff to late game nerf to early.

Ah good seems alot more balanced now. Overall i have feeling we might see garen more in ranked now. IDK about competitive tournaments but.
At one forum someone posted that Garen's
Decisive Strike can crit now. This would be huge.


I love that they are trying to make him stronger and more useful in late-game, although they seem to nerf everything regarding his early game. His Q speed-buff lasts for no time at all at early game, meaning initiation in his own lane will be a lot harder, and will remove a whole load of fear-factor, as it'll be harder to scare off the enemy solo top, by running towards them. I'm thankful for the passive buff (Which it obviously is), but I'm afraid that Garen will be forced to be a passive laner, making it tough for him to snowball well into the game if the enemy can deny him of his farm. Facing a Teemo will be immensely more destructive than it already was earlier.
Summing it up: Thankful for the late-game buff, but the early game looks like it might make him a bit silly-ishly bad at that stage of the game. He will have to only be picked versus other solo tops. He can be countered too easily now.

Not even close his early game is still great and he is darius lvl of kill potential.

Ty for clearing this up. Its a buff overall but im wondering about his Courage ability the 20% armor and magic res increase is that stronger than it was b4 with kills? So the 20% stacks with all armor you build right? If so that seems very strong he gets armor and magic res without building items.
