Derp this thread became a rage thread :P....

BTW, there is a feature I have seen on a few forum websites, If it could be applied here it would be great. Basically it notifies you when someone comments after you, on a thread or topic. So you can keep a conversation up, without having to scan through all the threads, looking for where the hell your comments are, and what the replies were.

I think i'll add an idea to this which could increase the activity on mobafire.
I've seen some sites/forums do this trick, add a little chatbox (movable by the user through profile settings) with several channels (this is to prevent overpopulation i guess) where people can chat.

Reason i post this idea is because it can help GREATLY on the newcommers who have no idea where to post something, find a thread about something etc etc.

How?

Veterans as you call them often visit the site, and respond very quickly, with this idea they can help the newcommers find what they are looking for or tell them where they should post w/e they are eager to post on the forums and prevent stuff like : where do i place this comment? lets try this section.... MAJOR TROLLING & FLAMING on your post..... and then you get the /never return\ situation.

This is ofcourse if the veterans are willing but you get the idea right?
Also it does not have to be the veterans, people who are new but know some things could also be of help there as they most likely will go there to with questions which means they can respond to if they know the answer.

It also gets more people to think: ooh, this website has a chatbox, let's visit it more often because it is always fun to chat with random people i don't even know(Or at least, there are alot of people like that).

I'd love to have that chat box/anything that could work as a live support. Would greatly increase the support efficiency here.

I used to really enjoy Mobafire.com

However, my satisfaction has gone down considerably. Every time I log in my mood has consistently turned sour every time I've checked the site for the last week or so.

Nothing the developers can do about this, but as a community people should really think before they hit the Post Reply button. This may be the intarwebz, but there's still people sitting on the other side.

You could help out a lot by saying why your satisfaction went down.

Most people I know in my life outside of gaming do not walk up to strangers and say, "Hey ****** that's a piece of **** idea you have there." It doesn't bother me when random trolls or 5 post newbies do this kind of stuff. But when those who are considered part of the established community (with high rated guides) start doing that kind of **** it just puts me in a bad mood. (Note: This doesn't just happen on my guides, it happens on many others as well, and it takes a lot of restraint for me to not ream the offenders on others guides.)

I don't really know what a good solution would be. Perhaps there is no good solution. Perhaps I'm the only one who feels this way, I don't know.

When its all said and done, my goal has always been to have fun and play the game well. I create guides to help myself, and help others if it does. Most of the feedback I get is good feedback and I am able to help people with playing some of their champions a little better. But I don't know if its jealousy, boredom, or whatever, but people raging at you never feels good IRL or on the Internet.

The fact of the matter, though, is that when I recently decided to start trying to find people to do ranked 5v5 with. I had no desire to even try making a post on this website because of recent negativity that I experienced.

I share this now because I do hope that something can change. Early on my experience on mobafire was a good one. And I would like to go back to that.

I'm sorry if others were offensive to you, but I was honestly trying to give constructive criticism and to word it in a way without offending you directly.
