MMR

If you tell someone that you're ranked in division 2 of gold league, it probably means more than saying you're 1700 elo. If MMR was shown, it would be how people compare stats since the League system is more superficial. Riot also likes the whole promotion series thing and they're probably right in thinking it makes ranked feel more rewarding when you climb as opposed to reaching a seemingly arbitrary 4 digit number. Basically if they show MMR, the League system becomes meaningless and we're back to a pretty boring 4 digit number system that isn't as fun for players.[/quote]
