She can't farm well early game. Even with the passive on her E. Her base AD is **** and you have no ArP with her so it's even less. The point is to get the last hit....You'll have to time it well to get 1 of them, and then the AoE blast might actually weaken the other creeps too much AND not actually kill them early game. Your AS will be **** as well and activating or even leveling her AS steroid pre 6 is a waste. AP Tristana needs to rely on bursting her lane opponent(s) because as I said her last hits kinda suck early game.
And I beg to differ with what you said about Annie. Her burst is great throughout a game....What's this, "overhyped" stun? Lol alright well on the list of "GAME CHANGING" ultimates Annie's Tibbers stun ranks up there in my opinion. It's also a great way to completely zone your opponent mid (the threat of being stunned in general). But I guess you're entitled to your own opinion.
Pre-6: Tristana, akali, poppy
Post-6: Talon, Akali, Poppy, annie, chogath, brand.
Late game (post 30 min): Poppy, chogath, casseopeia, gragas
just my opinion.

I've got a good chunk of experience with Cass. She's strong throughout all phases of the game (her end game trails off but that's how most AP champs are), her laning is probably top 5 IMO. Her mid game damage is great, it's mainly because her kit is just so damn strong. Well her kit in general is probably one of the best in the game. DoTs+Twin Fang spam hurts a lot more than is credited even when you've only got ~80 or so AP with her until the middle of mid game. Just takes a skilled hand to make it work.

In my eyes there is only justice
