Rumble is a bully in lane. His main goal should be to force the opponent out of lane and deny farm rather than attain his own, which is where I think a lot of Rumble players fall short.

It's long range makes it amazing to pick people off at tower.
If you're not going to use it when they're running, the damage is amazing for teamfights as you're probably going to get at least 3 people in it for spell vamp purposes.
