I'm pretty sure AP Shaco isn't used for jungling. You lose a ton of jungle speed, gank damage and objective control, which are the three things you need as a jungler. Unless spend two minutes making a nest and the enemy just slams their face into it, I don't see it being very effective.

ap shaco if youre trolling because its horrible and only the worst players will facecheck the typical ap shaco box stacks. it works okay midlane against low-sustain/no shields since you can infinitely poke down the enemy with shivs and then assert map control with boxes and roam quite efficiently.
ad/on-hit shaco is actually viable though, and is really strong in soloq to jungle with due to the lack of communication.

AP Shaco is more strong in jungle, but at late game he become usless. AD at late game is very good to assassinate the enemy ADc but dies quickly.(better AD)

Welp... ap shaco jungle isn't good at all. If you wanna go anywhere beyond gold and want to play the jester, go for AD shaco in the jungle and wreck faces
