If I'm down like 14-3, or 10-1 the game is pretty much over.
Because I'm also taking into the account they have nailed every dragon and control our own jungle.
Had a game like this last night actually. Of course, we started 4v5, so that didn't help either. I was all for a surrender in this case; both sides legitimately agreed that there was nothing we could do when we were 3-12, and their jungler was just wandering through our jungle nonstop.
I can only be happy that there was no senseless bragging from either side. Except from me sitting in the bush to steal our own blue from their jungler. He just kinda stood there for a minute wondering where his buff was. Even then, I only shouted out "my jungle". No shouts of "noob", no random *****ing, nothing. It was kinda okay, really.
In all honesty though, I almost never agree to surrender. Only if the odds are seriously stacked against us (or I want different teammates) will I agree to surrender. And I mean, 7-35 kinda stack.

I spend my time on League of Legends to relax and have fun. In my opinion, surrendering is only useful if a) Someone's missing from one of the teams or b) The other team is just playing with you, trying to kill you as many times as possible before your nexus goes.
I played a game a little while back that was 2v5. I thought it was okay to surrender then, but I didn't anyway. I don't like starting surrender votes, and (although maybe not in 2v5) comebacks can happen, I always try to play the game until the end.

I hate it when they surrender when we're attacking their nexus turrets and about to win. WTF. CAN'T YOU JUST WAIT.

I love it when they surrender after we've killed their nexus.

Try to monitor some of youre surrendered games:
80-90% of time the worst guy in the team will start it.
For a great deal of ppl it seems that they wont have fun if they arent going to win.
Aaaaah, good ol' DotA, how I´ll miss those guys after they all switch to DotA 2... NOT

the thing with surrendering.. i mean i wont surrender unless im SURE we will lose and its just delaying the inevitable. i mean if it hits 20 mins and its like losing by 2/3 deaths and only 1 or two more towers down than the opposing team i will keep going.
but the only thing is when u get a really really bad team and it ends up as like 21/5 then i know i'll just surrender at 20 mins. its just... theres no point. its just delaying the inevitable. plus, the other team is gonna be so fed compared to us. it gets to a point where even if we rush each tower one by one we'll still lose the team fight no matter what.
surrendering i dont like doing if theres a chance, but i have no problem surrendering if we're definitely going to lose

I don't have to worry about surrendering. 99.9% of the time I'm beating the **** out of the opposing team into surrendering.

Half the time, they're trying to do it to get a double nexus explosion.

Also, I think the levels of immorality in this thread are astounding. You'd really throw a child off a boat for your own luggage? Wow.

Having fun is all that matters.
And if you want to surrender, you probably aren't having fun.
Agreed.
And theres another thing: if you clearly lost the game already, just surrender and play another. Dont waste your time waiting until the enemy team aces and destroys everything.
