It's actually not the bad, it gives lifesteal and its passive will deal extra damage to your auto attacks especially when your enemy is below 50% HP and you proc your passive with it. It's great for dueling (which is really
Zed's strong point) and it allows you to catch up to your enemy. As well as stacking on top of your damage with Death Mark. I don't suggest it first, but I buy it second or third when i'm ahead. :)

Infinity Edge is a massive luxary item for Zed, it brings insane burst when combined with the extra crit chance from Youmuu's Ghostblade, and you'll usually get a crit within 2 autos. I honestly dont think the Black Cleaver is super necessary on him anymore. Its pretty costy, but yes it does give you good stats, but there are other, more cost effective items like Last Whisper and Youmuu's Ghostblade IMO.:)

I spammed Zed a lot when he was released. Completely stomped in normal queues, didn't lose a single one, didn't even have a close game.
